Officially Bored

Perhaps he got two warnings and decides to make a new account?

And hillarity ensures. Westoftherockies mk.II now back with even more creepycopy-pasta paragraphs.

NV gets boring only if you keep playing it non-stop like an endless Mount-and-Blade styled sandbox. OP, like Ace said, you oughta take a break from it and try something else. ;)
In my opinion, NV is very worthy of the Fallout name, ta-da.

nobody is making you read the "boring" game threads. the game doesn't have a lot of replayability and the desert is just way too empty.

There are a lot of people who enjoy NV.

Deal with it. :disguise:

New Vegas improved on alot of things from Fallout 3. Better storyline, better quests, and DT being just a few.

In some aspects though, I think that Fallout 3 still has an advantage on it. The atmosphere and open world/exploration factor being a couple that, in my opinion, New Vegas can't beat. Combine those all and I think we've got a winner for F4.

In no way however is New Vegas a bad game. Can you honestly say that New Vegas was worse then "the burned game"?

I am honestly thinking he's hating on the game just for the sake of it. Heck, he's not even interested in proving his points beyond "it svcks, it's shameful, it's a burned game" and seems pretty denial over people who enjoyed NV.

That being said, I am still waiting for the supposed F3 + NV winrar. :celebration:

In my opinion NV was poor. FO3 was a game that amazed me. NV just filled me with disappointment.

If your over 600 hours in NV then why does your PSN trophy account say you have only completed the game with the NCR? NO OTHER FACTIONS!
YOUR FO3 TROPHY 70 odd percent. NV trophy 30 odd percent FACT.

No one said you had to look at it kid. I'm bored with your snide remarks.

Well you dont have to tell everyone you are bored with NV after playing it for 200 plus hours.

Obviously that would happen.

When I got bored of NV I did not make a thread about it.

I think since it is against forums rules to make a threads about certain subjects, that the subject of "I'm bored with this game" should also be one of those subjects.

Been playing fallout for soooo long, mods just don't keep it fresh anymore. We haven't had an update on DLC's for so long except the constant denial of releases. I'm migrating over to oblivion which I'm playing for the first time right now. Be back when there's a new announcement!

Awesome, thanks for the info! You be sure to make a thread when you come back too, keep us all up-to-date y'hear? The forum'll be on tenterhooks 'till then!

I don't even think I'd left the Goodsprings area in 4 hours. Since I started launching from FOMM, I don't see the steam numbers on how many hours I have. I should check, It must be getting close to 1000 by now.

Really? Where did he mention FO3 or FPSs? I think we only have enough information to infer he's just, y'know, bored with the game, and for god-only-knows-what reason he thought this would be of great interest to the rest of us.

Well welcome to the crew...

But all in all you can make your gaming experience alot better.

1. BY NOT PLAYING THAT GAME NONSTOP. If you have other games play them...just because you have Fallout doesnt mean you have to play it all the time.

2. Play it every so often.

3. Be creative!!

4.And vary in the games you play alot. Dont just play one all the time.

But I could play fo3 all the time and I didn t even have mods. 2400hrs. I can t play it anymore I retired from fo3. For some reason I can t play this one all the time. hmmmmmmmm wonder why that is.

Becaaaaaaaaaause you don't like the game? You seem to like talking about the game alot more than playing the game itself. Hmmmmmmmm wonder why that is.

new vegas doesn't give you a lot of reasons to keep playing it for months or years like other games do, it was a good game but the desert is pretty empty and there just isn't a lot going on for the size of the map, no random events, no random encounters, all the spawns are predictable, the game is like a book and its the same every time, even if you choose different factions to join, it really doesn't change anything, its not the story thats the problem, its the map environment thats boring.

This and more the endings are all flawed. except maybe if you go with ceaser. Many think all the endings r soooooo awesome, but thet r all flawed and you really don t get many choices in thosd choices so the game gets all mixed up. A game can t match a human brain in critical thinking especially when it comes to morality.

I hate the ending thing it just ruins it for me. Feels cheap when you really dig into the House/NCR/yes man mess.

Doesn't have alot of replayability? Doesn't have alot of replayability?!?!?!?! 4 endings, so many different ending slides, different character builds, various different ways to complete quests and different ways to play out the endings ( Better, worse) etc. etc...

The endings r all flawed dude. Except maybe Ceaser ending. The other 3 endings are a mess. I was great until I started cominb to the end. Then its a game program vs a human brain.

The game can t handle a human brain in that way, so the flaws start showing through took me out of rpg mode. Feels cheap now. Plus there is very little to do on the map.

Its like the writers got tired at the end so they had their little kids finish it for them.

Yet another Bored of Fallout New Vegas thread. I would go with what Ace said some posts back. Play something else, like Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics then come back to New Vegas :fallout:

Why do we need to have these stupid New Vegas vs Fallout 3 threads? Its getting old people.

I think its cause fo3 picked up a bunch of people, and it was a certain kind of game. NV lacks alot of stuff that fo3 did and here we have some people expressing their opinions about it.

Can t go og s way all the time
