Offline Multiplayer Features

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 8:17 pm

After gleaning as much information as I could from previews and other sources, I found myself still unsure just what features are available for offline play. Will there be system link support for 8v8? Is any form of split-screen supported? I haven't seen any hard facts regarding these features, so here's hoping for some confirmation from Bethesda's forumgoers.

I could not find much about offline play. I'm sure it would be just as fun offline.

That's what I feared. How devs can fail to list the core features of their game before it is released is beyond my ability to comprehend. At least they haven't pulled what Treyarch did with Black Ops, specifically marketing it as having bots available for offline play when they weren't available without being online.

No splitscreen, there's an storyline (actually 2, Resistance and Security) but the gametype is the same as in multiplayer, not a path you need to follow, like in other shooters singeplayer.
