Offline vs online

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 9:50 pm

Will you guys start with offline when you get your hands on the game, or jump right into multi?
I'm not sure yet. If I go offline I will probably concentrate more on the story and get used to the game, but the multi is obviously more fun.
Of course, if PSN is still down than its not a question for me

i think most people will stars offline to build up there xp and then try it online with some decent weapons and stuff to give them a good chance of getting places.

I'd rather learn the game by playing offline before making a fool of myself online!

Im definitely Playing through both sides of the campaign, and doing all the challenges because i have no choice because PSN is [censored] PSN is down, and i'm pessimistic about it. So lots of bot games IF PSN isn't up after i beat both campaigns and the challenges. No hate PSN just work as fast as possible, and i mean at least the PSN being down is a good test of the single player morphing to multiplayer :D

Going through the campaign with friends of mine. Maybe get some challenges done if none of them are online. That or dike around and get to know any maps I have to play with in free mode.

But most commonly, I will want to level my default character so I can unlock lights and heavies. Then the fun truly begins. :spotted owl:

I'm going straight to mulitplayer, It will probably take me a couple weeks to even start the campaign (often times I don't even touch FPS campaigns, but this one looks interesting). I heard that you can only get new weapons in challanges; if this is true I'll probably be doing a couple of those at release too.

I voted offline because being a PS3 owner, I'm not sure if PSN will be back up by tuesday. If it is, then i'll def. be playing online first.

I plan to play all the Training/Challenge mission first, then hop onto SP Security campaign. Depending on how I fare, I'll then either crank up the difficulty for Resistance SP campaign or take it online. Though PSN probably still won't be up...

Us poor PS3 owners. I'm going to unlock everything from challenges before I jump into anything else regardless of whether PSN is up though.

Yes and during this time you can customize your character and his weapons. neither of which you can do while in a match.

you could also start off on co-op as well as full online multiplayer and maybe single player. the game is a story that you follow but you choose if the other characters you see on screen are real (in there house playing online) or A.I. (computer controlled) its not a choose a map and play it online game.
