was the level up book glitch fixed in the update or what? because im trying to use it to level my thief from 21 to 81 and it lets me use the book once then it wont even let me activate my bookshelf. i reloaded the save and if i put a completely different book on the shelf such as a journal. then try to access it. it still doesnt work

Are you sure you're doing the exploit correctly? If you are, then isn't the answer that clearly it has been fixed?

was this since the patch or on certain characters or what. because it was jus oghma it was with any book that the shelf stopped working

the game glitches when it feels like it. so naturally i wondered if this was one of the occasions

How? I've tried every way listed, and nothing works. Tried deleting the update, but now the game won't load without the update.

The exploit wasn't fixed, the bookshelves were simply broken. Try doing the glitch in a barrel instead.

Tried barrel, chest, sack, Lydia...nothing works. And can't load any save files without downloading the patch after deleting it. Of all the things to fix first.....

Works fine for me.

Open barrel > read book > deposit book in barrel > open barrel > read book > deposit book in barrel.

After numerous tries, finally got it to work!
