Okeey.. My Morrowind is a complete mess

Post » Sat Jul 03, 2010 3:17 am

Lately I was adding some mods but it appeared that I either didn't like them or they killed the FPS... Now... I can't get rid of them... Simple unchecking them doesn't work...
First I get fifty million reports of missing references... I do have the Yes to all button.... but that doesn't fix the problem.. it only hides it.... And lately the game simply crashes everytime I load prior to having unchecked some files and being asked if I want to continue with those mods away... Well the files weren't corrupt since I used them before to test things out....
The main mod I want to remove is MCA and the other big one is TLM with a few minor....
I have Wrye Mash but I don't know how to use it further then the simple commands and the readme is like a big jungle while I'm only equiped with a child-friendly sizor...
Pls help... I just want to play :violin:

The easiest way for you to solve these problems is with a few simple Wrye Mash commands. Spend a few minutes and read the Mash document, it really does have all the info you need.

It will also help clarify if you show us what's in your Warning.txt after a crash (found in your Morrowind folder)

From what you describe, you're going to need to Update and Repair your Save file (with Mash) to remove all the references from mods you do not want active anymore.
