I get all the way to throw the grenade.. everything says completed but it never fires. Right at that point Radio Freedom goes silent....

I looked at bug threads and I went back to check my radio and it was unpowered and unmanned..

I hooked the entire bade up to power, but the radio remains unmanned and it will not let me assign a settler to it. Says this NPC cannot etc..

None of this worked.

Did too many die in the battle? I had one die, I thought about resetting but left it and one of them sat there. There are also just settlers and minutemen at that particular place so it has to be a minuteman at the radio. You may have to wait until one shows up but then you're that much farther from a save before it got messed up.

There are two guys labeled Minutemen, neither will assign to the radio.

I have also this problem

A few things to try. (after reloading to an earlier save)

One; If you built more then one cannon, only have one assigned and active

Two; throw second flair

Three; Don't back up to far until the bombs start dropping.

Any new news on this or word of a patch?

Is there a way to console command past this?
