It would add realism...but advocates for the elderly, the disabled, and the obese would probably file a lawsuit.

Awesome thread.

But i thought it was funny robbing old people's armors and seeing them with abs.

Imagine the awkwardness when you're told to create such a texture.

Yea, the title scared me.

But the topic itself has merit. My old character was ripped and such, and it never made sense.

Back in the day they were all fit from doing manual labor and mostly walking everywhere.

Thats because living longer than 40 years was quite an achievement

What I hated in oblivion is that if I decide to kill some ancient old man, and take is clothes, he has a buff six pack body of a healthy young man. When I loot old people's clothes I want them to be wrikley and shriveled. The same problem was in both fallout 3 and fallout new Vegas. I'm hoping that if your face is old,( like moving the age slider all the way right) , then your body will be old and gross looking.

Edit: oh my goodness, I was not thinking when I made the tittle. :obliviongate:

WHAT IS WITH YOU AND AESTHETICS!!!!???!?!?!?!?!?!?

Young people do not realize...they will end up looking old and withered the same way, if they can live to a ripe old age.

And that is why it is important not to get any too large tattoos on places that wont stay taut forever.

I would like it if there were different body types in Skyrim apart from sixpack.
But I thought that was a confirmed feature of character creation?

It's probably a stupid question but is this still possible? With all these other things they are removing, can we still remove clothing from people? Just like..can we still walk around in our underwear if we want to? Lol..i just wonder. Probably it is..but you never know.

Jack Lalanne would like to beg to differ. Don't know who he is? Google.

It just so happens, every old person follows his routine

Why did I click this?

Anyways. I guess you can stay in shape if you are old. I've seen some pretty fit old folks, but yeah, wrinkles for sure!

So you caught it too, I see :P

But I share you sentiments OP. The problem in oblivion was that the head/neck was separate from the rest of the body. You could customize your head, but the body was it's own separate thing. Now that we have full body customization, maybe old people will have those shriveled old bodies you desire.
