I am a huge Falmer lore seeker and consider my self as being pretty much a know it all in Falmer Lore. So much so that I even help creat a Falmer dungeon mod for morrowind (The Neverhalls) and an expansion (The Forgottenhalls).
Now, those two mods are Falmer based mods and they push and strech Falmer lore in every direction. I am not saying that the lore created for them is right and I dont want this thread to turn into "that lore doesnt exist if its fan/mod made".
In a way, I am looking to strech the lore further by this thread, but its mainly to get an opinion about which direction, not the content, of this lore.
before I get into the Lore, so to speak, to those that havnt played/heard of the two mod above - they are essentialy mod which revlolve around a Falmer Ruin based at what is believed to be the finale conflict with the Falmer and the Fall of the Snow prince. Within those ruins, on the upper level, we placed a necromancer who was exploring the ruins - looking for the Snow Prince's armor.
This isnt too much of a push on Falmer Lore, as we have the old wet note from Bloodmoon:
Winter-Fist,
It is as we had feared. Angria and her rabble are intent on stealing the Snow Prince's armor from Jolgierr Barrow. My men drove them off, but they grabbed the helmet. I know they're hiding somewhere here on the island. They've been seen before near Lake Fjalding and the Frykte ice cave, so try looking there. I'll join up with you as soon as I'm able.

Now my question is this:
Is it possible and feasable to assume from this note - that there exists two things:
1) Other information about the Snow Prince and his burial outside of the "Fall of the snow Prince book" which was left in the snow Princes tomb
2) That there exists a group of people that seem to know and want to protect this information
Lets take the 1st point - The note tells us that a group of people knew about the tomb and the armor - but not from the book that was in the tomb. I came to this conclusion simply because if they used the book for the infor they would have took the armor along with the book at the time and would therefore not be looking to loot the armor. If by whatever chance they had previously visited the tomb and took only the book to learn about the armor later then the book wouldnt be in the tomb...... And secondly theres the part about they grabbed the helm and were driven off - this suggests they were surprised and in a hurry - and wouldnt have had time to take and read the book.
So where did they get their information from? Know one else knows about the tomb suposedly.....
The 2nd point - Why would a group of people that want to steal the armor suddenly turn on each other nad try to stop others from stealing the armor? I personnaly think that there exists a group of people that are trying to protect the tomb and this is what the note is all about.
Then there are some other questions - why is the note found on a body at the bottom of a lake - someone trying to cover something up?
I ask all these questions/raise these points because I am looking into expanding upon the two mods and creating more lore for the Falmer - but I dont want it to be half baked lore. I am looking to try and make the lore connect to existing lore and/or try and make it feasiable/reasonable lore.
SO I thought I would raise this with you guys here to see what your thoughts and ideas are regarding this old wet note. A lot of my research shows either people tend to ignore the note or say its the undead in the tomb that protected the armor and the note is written by one of the theives....but this clearly isnt the case!
