Will the NPCs mysteriously disappear like they did in Honest Hearts? It'd be nice to see the Sink's inhabitants when ever we return there. It was pretty silly for the HH NPCs to leave what they just fought for, please tell me the OWB guys stay! :cryvaultboy:

I think people like the scientists will disappear. But the objects of The Sink will certainly stay.

I doubt the talking things in the Sink disappear, but major characters like the scientists probably will.

I hope they don't disappear.HH was a let down but i thought i could at least do something in Zion after its completed, whats the point in returning if all the characters are gone and there is nothing to kill or find there?

That was pretty lame, hope it won't happen again.

If the scientists disappear then why go back. It's like not doing a quest and they are gone forever.

Maybe the winning party of OWB (the scientists, or presumably Mobius) offer sidequests after completion, like collecting things, or exterminating the new pests that have entered the area as a result of their new experiment. They could do much more after completion. I just hope OWB isn't completely story quest-driven and has decent sidequests, not like "Talking to Waking Cloud, the to Daniel, then to Waking Cloud and bingo, you just gained 600 xp by initiating dialogue." Not enough, try "Talking to Follows Chalk about society, then to Josh, then to Chalky again, and BIG WINNER 600xp, and you didn't do anything special."

Yah it makes no sense that tehy left, especially in this.

The scientists after all need these research facilities to do their research or whatever so why would they leave.

I would hazard a guess and say that the Think Tanks and the like will leave, but Muggy, Toaster, Lightswitch, and the like will stay. At least, I hope the second part of my statement is true.

J.E. Sawyer explained he went with more basic, less threaded quests so they don't break down as the main game quests. Unfortunately.
