I live on the east coast USA and I can feel the frustration drifting over the water.

Not litterally, but you know what I mean.

For some odd reason Valve decided to synch the release with the PS3 release, which is in the afternoon.

WOW WOW WOW! HOLD ON! I know its not your fault but pearhaps you might pass on our displeaseur to the higher ups, since this DOESNT bodes well if you (Bethesda) keep doing this crap now, i cant even imagine with Skyrim. WHY IS THE PC WAITING FOR PSN??? This is my question, i do not own a PS3, i dont want a PS3 and have no intention of buying a PS3, so WHY AM I COMPARED TO A PS3 OWNER??? (no offense intented to PS3 owners). Steam updates DAILY, your "marketing" department should take less classes with EA/Bioware Marketing or i can garantee ill future for Skyrim, PC owners have A VERY LONG memory span and we have acess to "alternative" methods of aquisition mind i remind your marketing fellows, and we continue to get the shaft on everything as per common mentality of game houses today (xbox360xbox360xbox306xbox360 ITS ALL ABOUT XBOX360 AND KINETIC!!!) you WILL lose your major supporters, PC. I myself as an example dont wont buy ME3, since i dont buy mediocracy and total lack of respect to the fans as EA as done or by that matter any EA product.

Its not the one day waiting Mister Bergman, is the principle of the thing, i have no problem that the DLC had a problem or something like that, it happens and patience is a virtue, but i dislike ALOT always being put behind because of marketing strategies that DONT respect fans, THAT i cannot abide. I'm a PC player and PROUD OF IT and always will be, and before someone from Bethesda uses the same old excuse that PC has piracy bla bla bla bla i reply simple with ITS YOUR DAMN FAULT! Deliver the goods and respect the PC players and we give it back, ALWAYS, you dont have more loyal fans then the PC community (must i remind that the modding community is one of the corner stones of this game in PC?).

im confused as you are im a ps 3 owner and i cant imagine why they re doing this to the pc owners (maybe there is a problem with the pc version maybe not)its weird cause steam can put the game up even at midnight so why only the americans can get it? maybe .... (just a theory) ......they re using the xbox and the average american pc as a guineapig you know they want to check if everything is safe and sound :hubbahubba:

I already said it will be out at 12:01 GMT. So you can refresh every ten minutes for the next few hours and not see any change (and get increasingly angry for no reason) or you can just wait until midnight when it will actually go live.

I'm glad this is up telling folks what's going on. This is a pretty poor service for the PC gamers though. We have to wait for PSN, but Xbox doesn't? Err why? I know you said you don't know, but I really think whoever made this call in the sales dept wants to be given his P45.

Either everyone waits across Europe, or just PSN waits if Sony can't handle releasing the rest of the world does. It isn't the PC gamers fault that a console they don't own can't handle one off updates. This really does smack of double standards. I'm not normally pro-piracy, especially on games like this but in the particular case I hope there is a big enough hit in sales and surge in dubiously sourced downloads so that this kind of stunt isn't pulled again.

Didn't they learn anything from the amount of flak they got over the X-Box exclusive period on Dead Money.

As I said, I am glad someone is paying attention, but I am repeating what others have said mainly to add numbers to the "So exactly how many people are hacked off about this?" question which I hope gets asked at some point.

Well. IF it's rly GMT -/+0 it will be 12:01 AM online in Irland, Scotland and England.

But It will mean the rest of Europe has to wait 1 hour or even 2 hours longer as as it is still GMT +1 for Countrys like Germany and France and for Eastern Europe even GMT +2.

Regarding this whole problem.

It's just nothing surprising anymore.

Hey, if it's not Scottish, it's CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! :celebration: (says a Scotsman)

It is riduculous though to make non-American/Canadians wait, may not be your fault, maybe it's Steam's, I dunno, but it IS craaaaaaaaap! :(
