Is this tomorrow in US time or Euro time? Are we waiting another 24 hours?

A bit annoying but these things happen

Though I do think Mr Bergman Should make a Crack Team with Chris Avellone and Josh Sawyer to Storm Bethesda sales and market department to take control of the last DLC release date

Bergmans the team leader
Josh Gets the heavy weapons for the team
Chris makes the plan to storm the place

That's why I'm thanking him. Because the company clearly hasn't gone out of the way to say anything but he has.

You can feel free to thank me too for forwarding his tweet. :disguise:

I'm told it will go live at 12:01 AM GMT on Steam everywhere outside of the US.

People using the Cenega build should be especially pleased, since it's going live for you as well (yaaay).

I doubt that kind of hold up will happen. It's strange why Valve would want their release for Europe to match PSN though. Unless European PS3 users and PC users are very lose groups or there's some corrolation between them.

Whatever they think up in those Sales Dept.

I guess European 360 users get first dibs. Meantime the rest have to find something else. Might I suggest Fallout 2. I do find that No button always helps a bit.

I think I have some choice phrases for the sales team that aren't printable here, but I am grateful to Jason for letting us know what's happening: the worst thing is being kept in the dark, so thanks for that!

Be careful, young padawan.

Sony updates the PSN store on Wednesdays in Europe.

Our sales people told Valve to release on PC in Europe to match the PSN release.

Cheers for the update, it's a shame you had to take care of this yourself rather than Bethesda announcing it officially.

I suppose the question on a lot of peoples' minds will be: since this was clearly a planned idea, why was it not announced in advance? Granted there would still have been complaints about perceived favouritism, but at least everyone would have known where they stood. As it is, the trend towards hidden caveats to any announced date seems to be causing a lot of upset that could be avoided with a couple of clarifications in advance.

Granted, no one here is under the delusion that a one day delay will be the straw that breaks the camel's back and stop someone from purchasing the DLC, but you, Josh, etc have an affinity with the fans so hopefully this is something you can take on-board and affect within the company. Just something to consider for LR and future projects.

Mr. Bergman, please pass this along to your sales people.

"Everyone outside North America who plays Fallout New Vegas on PC wishes you a long painful death. Have a nice day."

I mean it's been thousands of years since the concept of logic was found. You're expected to use it.
