Old World Blues to be released tomorrow outside of the US

Post » Wed Jul 20, 2011 7:04 pm

Ive heard mention of US, and Europe, but no Canada. Are we getting lumped in with our Neighbours to the south again?

US is to Coca Cola as Canada is to Diet Coke.
Same [censored], really.

The PS3 never gets Fallout DLC on time. Dead Money was a day late, we couldn't get Honest Hearts due to the outage and when the network was restored, we still had to wait a couple of weeks for it. Now we have to wait an extra day for Old World Blues. I'm so sick of these "release dates" being wrong.

So Lonesome Road.... how much extra will PS3 users have to wait?

Why not trade in PS3 for the far superior X-Box? Or PC?

Got me. I just work here. There's no point in getting all up in arms about this. It's coming out tomorrow in Europe.

Please update your blog with the information, be quicker about it then. Not very nice to a customer not letting them know what's happening. Right?
Also update a thread in your forums, let us know and update your stuff because:

Old World Blues Available Tuesday, July 19th

Fallout: New Vegas' third DLC, Old World Blues, will be available Tuesday, July 19th on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Check out all new screenshots in our gallery.

Dont make us wait, update and make it right the first time around.
Im just adding this because i do think that you need to update your customers better than this. Better information that is.

I'm told it will go live at 12:01 AM GMT on Steam everywhere outside of the US.

People using the Cenega build should be especially pleased, since it's going live for you as well (yaaay).

So wait the dlc will be released simultaneously for all platforms ....NAT!The ps3 hasn't ever had a dlc on the same day as 360 *facepalm* Dead money out a month before ps3 honest hearts the big psn outage and old world blues "some sort of delay ".

Of course they have different policies and opinions on political matters, but the cultures? Yeah, practically the same thing. I always find it funny that, every once and a while, I meet a Canadian who's all proud to be Canadian, talking to me as if it's understood by Europe that Canada is better than the US and not stupid/lazy/insert the rest of the American stereotypes here, and that Canada "is cool with Europe." Then when I get asked what Europeans/Germans think of Canada, his smug little self-important expression turns to one of devistation to hear the same exact answer an American would give. "We don't."

Of course not all Canadians are like this. I've just met three or four like this and I've thoroughly enjoyed trying to explain to them why no one freaking cares and how 99% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you put a Canadian and an American in a room together and asked people to identify the Canadian.

Can we just pause for a moment to discuss HOW INCREDIBLY FREAKING STUPID it is to go on a company's website and heavily imply you're going to pirate their software?

Dude, whether you want to admit it or not, software piracy is stealing.

It's taking someone's hard work without giving them anything for it.

Now get a job, commie.

"Life is meaningless without the resources and freedom to exercise it."

Demanding payment and keeping people on a leash is taking away resources and restricting freedom. Sounds like piracy to me. AKA the companies have already robbed (read PIRATED) you of many freedoms, why should we not use so called "piracy" to claim something in return?

Some people feel entitled for pirate. However, piracy is just a cooler word for thievery, stealing and taking what is rightfully not theirs.

An X-Box is a downgrade. A PC is an upgrade and what do you think I'm using to respond to this? I'm not trading in consoles for one game. That would be a very stupid move on my part.

No, but that's just it!

America runs around saying they're the best and everyone else svcks, which some may find annoying, some may find it funny. Canada often assumes that everyone finds it annoying, so they go around saying "it's ok Germany, I know how much it annoys you. CANADA isn't like that. Canada is great and not stupid and ignorant and is all the good words in the world!"

And then, without even realizing it, they're doing exactly what the Americans are doing! They try so hard to seperate themselves from the Americans, and in the process they end up bringing themselves closer.
So yes, it is incredibly funny to watch someone with a glass house throw stones at someone else with a glass house in an attempt to impress others.

Argh! No but really, piracy is wrong depending on the company you are stealing from. Stealing from Bethesda? Wrong. Stealing cigarettes and Big Macs? Right.
Note: I have never stolen or pirated anything, I just fancy myself a philosopher.

ok this getting off topic so Im done with this after this post, but I just dont like being lumped in with another country. We do have different accents and cultures, but im not so disillusioned to think that the world loves us, or that we are everyones international brother. I just prefer to be not spoken of as American, North American I can accept, but Im Canadian, not a United States citizen. Not that there is anything wrong with the people that are.

Well, everyone is a Fallout fan here. So guess what, Canada gets annexed into America in 2076. So sit down, relax, and get diabetes. :)
