*Not asking for Torrents*

Does anyone know if the old Daggerfall,Battlespire etc games work on a modern day Computer? I know some old DOS etc games are unable to run on Windows 7. I always wanted to play these games but was told unless I go out and buy a old computer I can't play them.

The free Daggerfall dowload includes a preconfigured DosBox, which lets it run on a more modern OS. The same should run the others, just change the autorun accordingly.

DF needs a DOS emulator program such as Dosbox, or did the last time I heard.

Completely unnecessary for Daggerfall and Arena. They have been released for free by Bethesda.

If you want an easy setup, try these http://theelderscrolls.wiwiland.net/?title=Daggerfall_:_DaggerfallSetup_EN and http://theelderscrolls.wiwiland.net/?title=Arena_:_ArenaSetup_EN downloads.

There's also a specific subforum for these games on this forum.

You shouldn't really talk about it to begin with.

Redguard is a bit tricky, but Arena, Daggerfall and Battlespire works just fine in DOSBox.
