What old games would you like to see be re-released?

And on what platforms and formats? And should they be updated or kept original?
...By old I mean anything from the N64/PS1 era and backwards to... well, I honestly don't know, Pong or something.

So, what'd you like to see again?

Now the original game svcked, but I think it had a good idea, but terrible execution. Azurik rise of perathia.
Use wikipedia, but the game is terrible, I dont know if anyone else played it.

FF10-in 1080p
FF8- in 1080p
FF12- original FF battle system
FF10-2- edited to within an inch of it's life to make it live up to the series name

Can't mention FF13 as it isn't old yet.

I would like to see a FF game with a collaboration of all the FF mini games included.

I'd have to agree with you on the list but Id' also add 1080p remakes of VII and IX as they are my favourite games in the series.

Vigilante 8, such a good game. To me though, what makes a game such a good classic is partly because its a classic, a remake would just ruin it.

This may seem like blasphemy to some at this site, but I never got into Daggerfall and Redguard, so seeing those two be updated, refined and re-packaged on Xbox Marketplace would be nice.

I would love for a re-release of arcanum where they spent a bit of time making the combat system better... actually someone just please get Troika back together, give them better funding and get them to polish their games please.
A fully 3d release of daggerfall would be marvellous
The original fallout games made with a larger variety of building types.... (seriously there's what; cave, shack, city house, desert house, science facility and that was pretty much it.)

I would love to see Masters of Orion and Masters of Orion II on the Xbox Live Aracade. I want Arena and Daggerfall as well. Battlespire as well. This way we can have our multiplayer TES game right now.

For me, it would have to be a new Baldur's Gate (but who would make it?), a new Shenmue, and a new Jet Set/Grind Radio game. They were great games, both series were great for the DreamCast, and during the xbox's early days as well.
Oops, forgot about Road Rash. I would love to see another Road Rash game. Heard a rumor about a new one a while ago, but I think the plans for it were dropped.

I wouldn't mind seeing a new version of the original System Shock from 1994. Playing it now, the graphics and the controls are rather outdated.

Actually, new versions of System Shock 2, Thief and Thief II would be nice too as the game engine would have to be upgraded to run properly on modern PC hardware which can be a bit tricky now as the games doesn't like multiple cores and some other niggles.

DDFix solved most of my problems with those games (and KolyaTool for SS2) but apparently something new is in the works that will replace DDFix soon. The TTLG forum people don't want to say much about it yet but I'm intrigued.

Grim Fandango could really use an update too.

I'm also very much looking forward to DaggerXL, the engine replacer project for Daggerfall.

Wing Commander 3 and 4 on PC with 1080p Blu Ray quality FMV and a modern flight engine overhaul.

WC3 probably wouldn't be a possibility because I believe the footage was shot on Betacam, but WC4 was shot on film.

I didn't include WC Prophecy because...well...it was rubbish.
