I'm at the part in LR where ED-E gets your attention and you hear music playing and then a gunshot, Since I have a high gun skill I was able to use the dialogue option saying something about it being a hand-loaded .308 shot. Ok, now for the COOL part. The VERY first thing that popped in my head when I was listening to that playback from ED-E was, a year ago the trailer for New Vegas and it shows ED-E floating down the highway listening to some music (maybe the same song, I don't recall exactly) and then BOOM, he gets taken out by a sniper shot, from the regular sniper rifle that just so happens to USE .308 cal rounds.

Is it possible that Bethesda actually planed that trailer to have some relevance to the playback that I just mentioned in LR (The final chapter in the storyline?) If so, that is amazing (to me). I just think that's so cool how you see that trailer a year ago and you think nothing of it and it has something to do with one of your companions in one of the DLC's. That blew my mind, I was overwhelmed with goosebumps.
