The maps look pretty cool I think, I was wondering if they're have multiplayer versions of those places, especially the dock/shipyard. While I'm not as ragey about the state of the game as some people, I do agree that these maps should be free. Content like this tends to be rather limited in use because most people won't bother buying it and since this /is/ multiplayer, who would want to pay for maps that they can't play because of a lack of participation from other players?

Free maps would encourage existing players to keep playing and possibly encourage non-players to buy the game to support development. Here's hoping a big fix patch is coming soon along with this map pack addition.

only thing i don't like is the fact that 3/4 maps are from singleplayer!ALL the maps are from singleplayer, albeit modified forms to be suitable for multiplayer. If you ever played singleplayer after playing multiplayer, (or the other way around) you'll spot the places you go in single that are very similar in foundation to those of multiplayer.

Heck, have you noticed that Parking Deck is not even a single block away from Downed Bird in terms of space and distance? In singleplayer you pass through Parking Deck in order to take samples from the ship in Downed Bird, though they changed the design of both areas to make them multiplayer maps.

Yeah I played campaign after multiplayer I love how Impact leads on to Skyline that part was just epic and I love the version of Lighthouse too, with Sanbox 3 I'm gonna try use the single player amps to make Version 2.0's of the Multiplayers. Haha.

Good news WaR_SPiRiT - I will gladly donate your work with extra $10 instead of buying map pack from Crytek.

If they have the balls to charge for these I will be shocked, the original content is still BROKEN....anyone that buys this crap is supporting them corn holing us for the past month ad a half. Not supporting this developer anymore after this piss poor, broken, consolized game.

Crytek dismisses the people in Budapest. Apparently they really need the money. And the DLC not earn much. Fail.

I heard that Microsoft made them do it. Don't know about the money bit.

If it's a paid dlc, how will they implement it on PC since it uses dedicated servers? Will it kick the players who doesn't own the dlc?

...and it happens again, we get 3 refurbished SP maps and one new map... BEFORE THE GAME GETS FIXED.

On top of that, I still can't get the limited edition content because the overall account mess up... I guess if I buy the maps I will not be able to enjoy them as well... **** OFF!

Kind of sleezy to announce DLC, while other issues should be tackled first. So much for priorities. It's all about the money, lalala.

Yes ,at last first dlc should be free for PC users , for all bugs, cheaters, pirates, and problems with game , both, in single and multi player. If not ? Sory EA, you are starting acting like Bobby from Activision, $ are more important for you than players... sad but true.

PS.Vote for no, maybe then these blood svckers from EA will understand , that we are not like COD players , that are buying every scrap of meat that acti is throwing for them... i hope EA will understand , and there will be like in Crysis 1 and crysis wars ,were maps were for free (i understand DLC's like Warhead , ok , but nothing like this! Paying for maps?! AND what if im in clan , and not all my people have this DLC ? How are we suppose to train/play together ? Only on non-dlc maps ? Nonsense... Why in Bad Company 2 , where are about 6 millions more people playing it , there wasnt stuff like that ? How is that possible? Why there were free maps? EA and Crytek, please dont act like activision in case of multiplayers games, im begging you...

IDD... im allready starting to doubt ea. At first i thought activision is kewl but when i found out that theyre greedy sons of biches and release poor expensive products disqusts me. EA is on its way to disqust me because they **** crysis 2 big time and now theyre forcing crytek to release map pack and not work on bugs and such?! EA dont **** this up! dont go the road activision went please!!

This better be free, cus the state of the game as of now, ain't worth a penny.
And if it's 10 bucks for 4 maps... shame on you.

I'll just wait for the community to release better maps when they get their hands on CE3!

Yet again, situation from CoD series.
We have bugged game (which could be awesome if properly supported) and developers release small map packs to boost the selling.
I'd love to see the game patched till the map pack release, but I wouldn't keep hopes too high.
And of course DLC won't be free.

Hope Crytek will not duplicate IW mistakes.

So bad for a first post...

Look guys @ crytek, I already made a big mistake and wasted my money buying your joke for a game(man even if you had repackaged crysis 1, it would have made most of us happier).

and now you are going to ask me to pay? do you even realize most of your game servers are empty already(this early for a game this new) and no body gives a crap about your maps.

just give me the god-darn MOD tools that was supposed to come out by now. Oh but ofcourse that will come slow, after all it's a free update right??

How exactly do they stop pirates downloading the map packs? Isn't it simply a map file that needs to be copied into your multiplayer maps folder?

I for one won't be paying for 4 maps that are taken from singleplayer and which will divide the community, it will be the death of this game on PC, what little community that is left will be torn apart, if this ends up being the case, Crytek won't see my money anymore.
