Nothing is known about the game, except it will be called Skyrim.

A game would be 100% done when it's released.

A game should be 100% done when it's released.

But as we all know, TES games never are.

If you mean what I think you mean, you can already do that. Some spells have multiple effects at once, like you can make a spell for yourself that heals and feathers at the same time if you want.

Well that's not true.

It will use a completely new engine.

There will be at least 2 dragons in the game.

I think a few people are misunderstanding the topic creator. When they say "title is released" they mean that the game's title is revealed. In any case, that has little to do with production completion. They waited until very deep in the development of this game to release it. It's been in development for "a few" years, suggesting more than two years now, suggesting a 3-4 year development cycle when it is released. It's probably not almost done, but it's well into development.

As to the spell thing, I assume they mean being able to hotkey different spells to different buttons, without the need to switch back and forth?

Magic in TES works by "saying" an incantation, hence why silence prevents you from casting spells.

So, barring your character being a siamese twin (thereby having two mouths), you won't be able to cast more than one spell at a time (which is what spellmaking is for: just combine it all into one spell)

One of the devs said he started working at Bethesda just under 2 years ago. They then went on to say they were there from the beginning of Skyrim, so, just 2 years apparently, 3 when it's actually released. (I'm assuming this is excluding the engine build itself.)
