Those videos contain images that aren't released by Bethesda, i.e. the angry looking Nord. Please don't post those. The rest is just fanmade.

They're also no confirmation of the presence of werewolves in the game, but merely wishful thinking and wanting to believe something is true.

the angry nord pic is fake?! i could have sworn that i saw at some gaming site..oh man :shakehead:

what about the info is any of that true ?

I'm thinking yes, for Vampires, and Werewolves.

If they weren't in, they'd have probably said so by now.

It's not really wise to let so many ppl think, they might be in, then say no right before the release. That would surely cost them sales. (ie, saying so earlier would give ppl a chance to get over it, and maybe see something else they like about the game, etc,. Regain interest, etc,. Release day sales are very important to game companies, mainly for investors, and whatnot.)

Even more than in, with the number of joinable guilds being so low, I'm thinking they may actually have good quest lines for the Vampire clans, and Werewolves, etc,. (Hopefully as good as the Dark Brotherhood, which is possible given a comment Todd made about the writer for that quest doing a lot of Skyrims quest.)

Then again, maybe I'm just being optimistic for a change. :)

Vampires are confirmed right?

If we could only have one, I'd pick bats over wolves. Everyone loves the sixy vampire.

Todd said in a podcast a while ago that they were toying with the idea. They said that about horses too and horses are in.

Mmm bats taste good.

I'd rather pick a werewolf first, THEN a vampire later. My experiance with Vampirism was ruined with Oblivion.

If marriage is in and werewolves (and vampires) are not I will be extremely unimpressed. :pinch:

I thought that about marriage and lot's of other possible\features. :)

I'm hoping these are in though, it would really help the replay value having those options. (I honestly can't imagine vampires not being in the game. But werewolves I'm concerned about.)

Really? They aren't going to say a word before it comes out, are they? I mean, I've already pre-ordered the game, it is less than a few months from it's day of release... Is hiding this really a good idea? Lack of this knowledge may make or break some people's decision to get the game or not, who knows.

I'm a stupid svcker for this though, so I'll be getting it anyways, worst comes to worst, 24/7 Khajiit play will be my consolation... :/

Watch Bethesda postpone the release of this game for 2 months.

Marriage in a game is an even worse idea! Marriage in real life is hard enough, I wouldn't want to excape to the world of Skyrim only to have another nagging woman riding my coat tails because I didn't storm a ruin to get her a rare jewel or something.

Nope, no werewolves in Skyrim, get over it. How many threads can there possibly be on this topic?

Oh my, someones angry. Just letting you know that werewolves are not going to be in Skyrim. Its already been confirmed. This has turned into a pointless thread now, discussing something that wont be in the game. Maybe with mods it will be, but not the original version of the game. I fail to understand a lot of forum users on heres obsession with werewolves.

It hasnt been confirmed at all either way.

I think we have a better chance at seeing vampires, which im OK with because one is better than none!

I dont remember the source, but I think I did stumble across something that seemed official that said werewolves wont be in the game. Vampires have a better chance of being in the game. In fact, they most likely will be. They were very popular in Oblivion, and I dont see why Bethesda wouldnt bring them back for Skyrim.

What? No werewolf? Did he say no type of lycanthropy either. Goodbye, Werebear.

Nope, too bad. Maybe the source I saw wasnt official, who knows. My guess is though that werewolves wont be in the game. Whats so special about them anyway? I doubt we will know if they will be in the game until it actually gets released.

Werebears are a better choice anyways.

If there not in the game, there will most likely be plenty of mods out there to satisfy all of your werewolf loving needs. Either way Skyrim is going to be a truly epic game with or without werewolves.

The source you saw wasn't official and Vampires in Oblivion svcked, they weren't very popular...

Todd (or Pete one I believe) said that they weren't going to say if they were in.

HE said they wanted players to find out for themselves when they get the game.

Now ask yourself, why would they want players to find out for themselves if they aren't in? That would make no sense to say such a thing.

Logcial conclusion, they are in, and Beth wants people to be surprised when they encounter one/change.

I like how most people are flipping about this game whether or not vampirism/lycanthropy is in

You buy this game to slay dragons and drink mead and bar fight Vikings, vampirism and lycanthropy is just extra stuff, if you REALLY want a game around that, get Vampire Bloodlines: Masquerade

Word your posts better next time. I sense a lot of hostility for no reason, whats your problem. You dont know the source I saw, and even I admit that it most likely wasnt official anyway, we dont know if werewolves will be in the game. And I think a lot of people would disagree with you saying that vampires were not popular and fun in Oblivion. I never played as one(I hated them), but I know a lot of people that played as one and enjoyed it. Sure it wasnt a perfect system, but what is perfect in video games these days.

Vampires? Vampires have been defiled by the perverse ********** that we know as Twilight.

But we still have our beloved Hellsing to show us the way...
