Once and for all, Werewolves are in it, or not?

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 1:21 pm

I saw, I think you may be misinformed though (which, when it comes to Twilight, isn't necessarily a bad thing). One of the parts of Twilight's love triangle is a werewolf (or Twilight's horrible, horrible sparkly corruptions of a werewolf at any rate)

Skinwalkers are native americans who can transform into animals.

I of course take my Vampires and Werewolves from World of Darkness lore!

Can't wait for the CCP MMO!

I've only read The Infernal City, but were-crocodiles (yes, really) are mentioned in that one.

I think they need a new name. It's a rather cheesy sounding mouthful of a name for something that's supposed to be cool.

From the fan Q&A.
1) Will the character be able to change into certain creature?
Todd: We’ve done various things like that in our previous games, and it’s something that we probably won’t be talking about specifically on this one. Don’t read anything into that, we just prefer to not discuss this one. We’d like to leave that an open question until the game is out.

You aren't going to know until 11/11/11.

Also, while I never saw Twilight or Red Riding Hood, why the heck should anyone be bothered by movies that in no way affect them? If you don't like it, don't watch it. If it still bothers you, as another poster said that's your problem, not those movies/books.

How about Reptilian Horrors or Scaly Abominations? I like those better.

Well, yeah but I was thinking of something that had to do with the lore.

Were-Crocodiles are too mainstream. Were-Alligators are soooo underground.

@Werewolfenthusiast Glasses don't help with color blindness. Otherwise I could be a pilot in the AF.

I prefer the deep crimson tones of the dark and bloody red...Thank you for the suggestion though...

I like blood as much as the next guy who plays ultra violent video games every day but back on topic...

Would the werewolf transformation be once a month like it's supposed to or would it be like Morrowind where the Bloodmoon forces it every night?

In the podcast, I listened to it today..i think he hints at it somewhere in there.

Which podcast, by which publication, where? That's maddeningly vague.

Skinwalkers are native americans who can transform into animals.

And are distinct from the werewolves of European folklore, who are cursed by Satan to turn into wolves under the full moon and devour the flesh of the God-fearing, which is the archetype that Daggerfall and Bloodmoon lycanthropes cleaved closer to.

I of course take my Vampires and Werewolves from World of Darkness lore!

Can't wait for the CCP MMO!

I'm more interested in the cyber opportunities on the 'serious' role-play servers.

Why...I would hope that it's kept traditional...Once or twice a month during the full moon phases...That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far...

Gameplay mechanics. You would rarely play as a werewolf. The Bloodmoon on Solstheim changed it for a reason.

I would love werewolves to be in but i don't think that they will be in at launch but rather will be added in dlc later on, but i think they should be in as they fit very well in the lore of Skyrim.

That's actually much more readable. And much more fun.

Also note: Being able to read doesn't necessarily mean being easy to read. Your text is hard to read but tolerable.

More annoying is how I read your text in this fancy snooty special voice. Like you're special or something in my head.

just pretend its liam neeson talking to you in your head trust me its epic

If it's DLC it may be something like SI, where it results from a personal encounter with Hircine. That could also allow them to change how often the transformation takes place.

snip

I think he's just getting into the spirit much as I am, although to a slightly less negative extent. I've never seen an MMO that looked inherently fun in any way.

Also, you seem to be clicking the color and bold options on accident, because I can't imagine why anyone would want to make their text harder to read for no reason (other than to call attention to oneself), and I'd advise you to get your period key fixed, since it seems to be sticking. Pry it off and try to clean it with rubbing alcohol or something. Maybe something's stuck in there.

I have deleted a bunch of posts that have nothing to do with the topic.

How so? You've read my text perfectly...Even posted spelling corrections...Mr. Trillid you do go on...Such a kidder...

Hmm I like your font it give a nice combination of murderous ,bloody, subterfuge, etiquette and a nice wolfy feeling that matches your avatar :D

And you might need to get your vision checked if you can't read his writing.....

Yes...But why? The werewolf in 'Bloodmoon' is terribly over-powered (i.e. Being able to jump the length of Solstheim in three bounds, eviscerating your opponents with a single flick of the clawed wrist, being able to figuratively rip Dagoth Ur's head off and shove it up his tight little keister)...Why not limit it? One of the many reasons I use a p.c. to do my gaming...Handy little mod that 'Original Ring of Hircine'...Only let the beast off of the chain when I absolutely have to...

who else has watched van helsing and rise of the lycans recently due to the werewolf threads? cause i have!

however, even if they do not include the ability to become afflicted with Sanies Lupinus, i'm pretty confident they will, like someone above in an earlier post said, release a DLC relating to it in some way shortly after 11-11-11, only because it took a little longer than expected to complete the masterpiece.
