[RELz] Ondurin Vareg

Well, I pulled it off. Here's the completed version of Ondurin Vareg. I've tested it several times and found no errors, no problems, no nothing... so here it is. If anyone finds an error, please let me know and I'll correct it with the next update. This is also soon to be available over on PES, but I'm releasing a day early here for all those who were kind enough to offer support. :celebration:

1. What it is:

Ondurin Vareg is a large, painstakingly detailed player home in the Ascadian Isles region, with plenty of liveability for any level of character. It is of a comfortable enough size to sleep a single player, or he can bring along a family (if you have something like "Your Morrowind Family") or up to six companions. It includes bedrooms, a kitchen, wine cellar, spacious backyard, docks, attic, porch, library, study, alchemy laboratory and dining hall as part of the standard features, and there's more if you look hard enough.


2. Where it is

Ondurin Vareg is located one cell north of the Fields of Kummu, in cell "Ascadian Isles Region 0, -5". If you are following the main road north, you will see a banner with a brightly colored light on the side. Follow the path (and more lights) to reach the mansion.


3. Warnings

I have not cleaned this mod. The reason being that I couldn't get TESTOOL to work and TESAME just deleted everything. If you have a solution or a guide to using either of these programs, please let me know and I will clean and reupload the mod. The only other warning is that this may be unbalancing just due to the fact that someone could sell everything in the manor and make a sizeable chunk of gold.

Have you tried cleaning with "tes3cmd clean --replace"?
Also "tes3cmd multipatch" will warn you about fog bugged cells.

tes3cmd is probably the newest and best tool for this, and other things.

Also, I recommend converting any Textures to DDS with Ordenador.
But don't use any DXT1a's that it produces. Also, it's OK for BookArt and Icons to be tga which is higher quality and not compressed; these images don't need mipmaps.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, uploading a dirty mod (especially when you know it's not clean) is against the rules of PES.

A bit of a learning curve, but once done I've never seen a faster cleaning method. And very thorough too.

I have cleaned up the esp for you and download size is less than a third of the unclean version, there was nothing harmful in there i could see just loads of junk data.


I haven't playtested the mod but seems ok , a lot of work has gone into it and looks tidy as far as i can see.
