.. if the explorer dies, the pet will return to the vault, with what looks like the kit the dweller had collected! Although (possible bug alert) you don't get what the Explorer was equipped with. Nice that the pet comes back, but not so good that the kit the dweller had wasn't copied.

What, did you think the pet would strip your dweller? It's probably being used as a packmule which is why you get anything back.

Well frankly I was amazed to get anything back, but given that the deceased dweller probably had the best items, yes I would expect then to come back. Did the pet strip them, I don't know and frankly don't care!


I couldn't revive, I was in survival mode.

Yeah, have to say I was surprised to say the least! If only they bought back the weapon and clothes the dweller was wearing though....

Survival Mode is generating revenue. Bethesda is wise to create this.

It is hard to survive initially without extra gears. Now the pets are helpful. All need to do with real money.

Well, smack me around the head with mirelurk steak and call me Alice; the pet only came back with the dwellers outfit and weapon, they don't show in the pet's inventory, but they're added to stores when you collect them when they return.
