If one Elder Scrolls were to be re-made, which one would you

Depends. Daggerfall for handhelds, but Morrowind for PCs and consoles. Morrowind with updated graphics? SIGN ME UP CAP'N

But they should work on TESV first.

Maybe their final TES game should be a remake of all games in one big game.

There can only be one answer; DAGGERFALL!!! Best Elder Scrolls game by far, except for the fact that it's nearly unplayable on a modern computer...

It really depends. If they actually make the Jungles of Cyrodiil Jungles, I'd have to vote Oblivion.
IMO, there's so many asthetic problems I had with Oblivion. Such as the "Vast" Imperial city. I wanted there to be dark shady areas, where thieves are common, that has been massivly corrupted (A city the scale that the Imperial city was supposed to be would struggle even with todays technology to fully cover crime, some areas would be niccer than others). anyway, I could go on all day with the different Lore, Races, and asthetic problems I had with Oblivion, but I'll leave it there.

On the other hand, I loved Daggerfall, and it could be vastly improved with some of the newer systems. But, also, I don't think Daggerfall would be quite as epic with the newer systems. They just wouldn't add that scale or awesomeness they had. It just wouldn't feel the same.

So, I'd have to vote Oblivion, though, I'd rather they moved on to another province, of course.

EDIT:

I also think Morrowind was perfect enough as is. Morrowind with "improved" graphics such as Oblivion wouldn't work. It needs to be gritty and depressing.

it would be awesome if they fit the entire world of nirn into one game, but since that is not possible I would have to say daggerfall since that is the biggest video game in the world, landwise

Daggerfall. Morrowind would be nice with current tech, but mods can make it look better than Oblivion and even add schedules. Daggerfall...Well, it can't be modded, and it's so awesome that it NEEDS to be remade with current tech.

It was far more rewarding to explore in Morrowind than in any other Elder Scrolls game. There was a chance of getting beaten to death by a horde of angry Daedra, but there was also a chance of finding something epic, like the tomb of an ancient Nord King or a Dragonbone Cuirass. I never felt that once in Oblivion, Daedric armor was commonplace once I reached a high level, to the point where I didn't bother repairing it. I'd just kill some bandits and toss the old set. Everything that wasn't a quest reward was either on display in a shop or randomly generated, nothing especially nice ever came from either.
Morrowind had an entirely wilderness feel to it that I didn't get in Oblivion, thats not saying it wasn't one of the best games of all times, but Morrowind needs a chance to rectify mistakes and exceed limitations that were put in place by technological and time restraints.
We need a remake of Morrowind.

And another thing, why were there dozens of ruined forts, but not a single one that still had a roof. I mean I can see with lack of use that some might fall into disrepair, but all of them?

Morrowind since so many missed it and it's not "up-to-date" any more.

M'aiq misses Vvardenfell. Back then, he still had his stylish - yet practical - fur helm.

Arena. Just because I want to experience the Black Marsh so bad (can't wait for the Black Marsh mod to go into beta for Oblivion :D)

M'aiq is glad he has a compass. Makes it easy to find things. Much better than wandering around like a fool.

I voted Morrowind. When I played it I thought it had horrid mechanics, still do. So yeah, Morrowind.

I voted for Daggerfall. I loved Morrowind, and oblivion was ok. I have heard great things about DF but never got a chance to play it, so if a remake was to be made that is what my vote would be for.

Oblivion is still gorgeous so a remake is unnecessary. Morrowind is obviously dated and the combat system could use a makeover but the game is still not "that" old and i would much rather see a remake of one of the TES games i haven't played. As for which one, that's easy. Daggerfall. No doubt about that. It sounds like the best of the older TES games and generaly appear to be very praised by the people who have tried it.

Daggerfall is still unrivalled in atmosphere and things to do. The released game is great, but I can't help but look back on all the cut content and wish Bethesda had made the Iliac Bay just a little smaller - and just how much more we could've had as a result. I'd vote for a remake of Daggerfall, except with DaggerXL in the works it could very well become a reality.

So I'll vote for Oblivion. Bethesda nailed the feel of Morrowind perfectly, but I wouldn't mind them taking a step back to recreate Cyrodiil - with jungles and the 1st PGE's description of the Imperial City

"I like Morrowind/Daggerfall" = hitting Oblivion hard? Seriously, you guys think anything is Oblivion bashing, that's why you say there's more of it than anything else...

There's this public assumption (I'm not referring to anybody in particular) on the forums that the poor, oppressed Oblivion fans are always being beaten down upon by the ruthless Daggerfall/Morrowind players. I'm not sure where it comes from. To be honest, I have to admit I rarely hear any criticism over Morrowind except "why can't I hit stuff in combat waaah" - although to me I think that's a big insult towards the game. You never get over being unable to hit that Mudcrab outside of Seyda Neen, so you either ragequit or always use it as an excuse for why you can't name anything positive about the game. Much worse than the concrete jungle/Colovians/Nibenese/Sutch/maledunmervoice that never got into the final game.

After my Oblivion MQ/SI rampage, I did find Morrowind combat a bit unusual to return to, but sometimes I wonder if people have anything against the game other than the combat. Because if not, then compared to Oblivion's thousands of complaints, that's generally why the fans are so divided around here.

I don't want Bethesda wasting their time/money to ruin an Elder Scrolls game(yes, changing a game so that it no longer feels like the game it was ruins it, in my opinion). Where's the "I want TES V, instead, please" option? When anyone wants to start remaking the newest game in the series, you know it's time to at least announce the next one, already. It's only been NEARLY 5 YEARS!
