Vanity Pets. I think they are the lamest thing, and have since I began playing MMOs. Too late for that, though.
Everyone gets a monkey vanity pet for participating in this beta, a scuttler for preorder, and a mudcrab for the CE.
Everyone: Woot! A new vanity pet!
Me: [censored]
Sorry, but my nerdiness has to come into play on this one. Rancors are like pitbulls in the star wars universe, they have a bad rep, but it's only because of crappy owners. In the Star Wars book "Heir To The Empire", a character named Mara Jade is riding one and speaks about how gentle and timid Rancors actually are. Sorry to derail this thread but, I had to clear the air on that one.
My top do not wants:
-Cash shop. P2Win = I'm uninstalling. Even "cosmetic" stuff (and not just OP WoWpokemon pet "cosmetic") isnt quite as bad, but still REALLY rubs me the wrong way.
-Addon API that allows chat boradcasts, AH posting, player movement control, or novel targetting functionality.
-Flying mounts. WoW world PvP in vanilla was awesome. WoW world PvP in BC+ was almost nonexistent.
-An economy based around guild AHs in instanced pop-capped PvP zones. I really hope this changes before launch. It will be an unmitigated disaster, and is one of the worst ideas in MMO history.
I have lots of feature that I wouldn't want to see in ESO:
Need Before Greed dice rolls
Bound on pickup items (Except rewards from quest or developers)
cash shop
Indeed after that I always got a fat buffer before logging haha.
Asian mmo style crafting, as in gear breaking when trying to enchant it or chance to fail on enchant (Tera)
Already in game but slightly different. When you upgrade an item, the success rate depends on the number of 'upgrade item' you use, if you failed, the item will breaks.
