One Long Playthrough - Future Edition.

So, somewhere in the first half of this year TESO should be hitting. But this thread isn't really about TESO, the MMO just has in impact on the topic.

I can't find it, but there was a thread here where we all discussed playing through Arena-to-Skyrim on one Charcacter or Family. We shared thoughts and stories. However, my question is, is anyone else going to do TES:O-to-Skyrim? ;D

It would obviously have to be a family line continuation for most. However, word is that there will be a perk for Vampirism. Skilled mages can also live several thousands of years if not indefinetly.

The people who (for some reason) don't like the idea often question the fact that there is no 'character import' feature in TES. Forgetting that there is always either a save editor (Arena and Dagerfall) or the console (Morrownd, Oblivion, and Skyrim.) Its not paticularly difficult to make a character that looks at the very least close to consistant, and even easier with small modding ability, and carry across stats and even gear.

My 'current' plan is to make a Bardess Breton. Somewhere in TESO she will become a vampire, and then do the typical 'noble impersonating' vampire through out the centuries. Her motivation to be the 'heroine' will be dispassionate practicality. The Empire is her best and least troublesome source of food, as long as its peaceful. Jager Tharn is a Necromancer and is ripping the empire to peaces, plus he will have jailed her, and fancies himself a master of the undead. Daggerfall can be explained as the Blades/Emperor knowing what she is, and blackmailing her, or something I can come up with later. Though, I ahve to admit i'm tempted to skip both the early games, as I have already completed them twice each, and that feels like enough. I may jump straight to Morrowind, where slavery and the great houses offer a chance at an even easier lfestyle for a vampire. Oblivion should be one of the most fun; between the Dark Brotherhood, Cyrodiil being beautiful place, and good for roleplaying a noble. Then we have Skyrim, though I may ignore the MQ, and the Dawnguard questline.

I've made a lot of vampire characters, some freshly turned, one turned in Daggerfall and tramping around Skyrim. But a thousand year old vampire? Only starting in TESO could offer this. Playing a practically ancient being, who saw the Empire rise, then fall, then rise, and by Skyrim teeter could be awesome from a roleplaying point of view.

I'm also tempted to make a Thalmor character, a sorcerer. TESO makes a perfect start for that, and there is motive as an 'insider' in all the games. In Arena it is that Tharn is going the wrong way about damaging the empire, hurting the High Elves also. Daggerfall can be used to sabotage the Empire, though i'm not certain who ti give the mantella to yet. Morrowind is something of a 'side' venture, and that in itself makes it fun, perhaps scouting the Dunmer to see if they are 'ready' to join the upcoming Aldmeri Dominion. Potentially TO slay ALMSIVI to make the Dominions rise easier. Oblivion is an easy one, as even the Altmer don't want Daedric slaughter and domination. And in Skyrim, just don't do the Civil War quest, and kill both or neither.

Anyone elses cogs turning?
