I'm on 115 hours of play. And for the past... say... 60 hours or so, I've been pretty much pure mage. Gave up the armor and the sword. Stopped getting health when I leveled up. At level 38, I thought I was pretty tough. Fireball blasting my way through the world. Then I went to take over a fort with a bunch of soldiers... I was shooting double fireballs and killing one or two... if I could hit them at a distance. My magicka kept running out, so I had to take potions while I was getting hit with arrows. Finally, I said, "screw this" and charged with a sword and shield. I killed twice as many soldiers in half the time with the sword and shield as I did with fireballs.

Jesus. And I'm not even skilled with weaponry.

I'm not complaining... I'm just saying. I had been reading all these posts about mage power and in my mind thinking... they must be doing it wrong... I'm pretty tough. Then this happens...
