Yeah 3rd vote for Arena :D

People should get their hands on BS and RG, they are quite nice. Too many haven't played them :/

Morrowind
Daggerfall
Battlespire

I agree with the OP that there's a lot of trouble with these threads...if you post them in a certain forum with that forum's main game as an option, it's WAY biased. Funny how this was in past TES first though. Ah well.

I would have to say IO liked Morrowind better then Oblivion, I haven't played all the games on the second list but of the ones I have played Arena was the best. I have never played Redguard or Battlespire.

My brother owns Oblivion for the 360, and Morrowind for the PC with Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I played Oblivion a little, but never played Morrowind. So I had to say neither one for the first two questions. I've completed Arena, Daggerfall, and Battlespire, and I'm currently playing Redguard (just about done though!). Daggerfall is better than Arena IMO. So I chose Redguard. Battlespire is really difficult, although quite fun, but Redguard has better: graphics, plot, sound/music, gameplay and the list goes on. But then again, Battlespire and Redguard were two completely different games. :P

I'll be honest, this thread is retarted

There is no need to be rude and to mispell simple words... :P

I voted Morrowind for the first two questions. Oblivion looks awesome and has a lot going for it but Morrowind had such amazing lore, and was more challenging, more interesting to play... *sighs*

Could this be made a sticky? Everyone's tired of these, and there was recently 2 more of these, _without_ the option 'I don't know/ haven't tried both so can't say'...

Yes, make this a sticky. Then we wouldn't have to yell at people making new threads.

Well...
Morrowind has terrible, scary graphics, ridiculous AI, horrible pathfinding, crappy battling, everything else poor, can't see how someone can see this was a second life, honest, Oblivion got all this fixed, so its the best.
Daggerfall, Arena, and the others never played, so can't answer.

Daggefall had even more terrible graphics, AI and pathfinding. It also crashed way more. But it still beats the crap out of Morrowind AND Oblivion, which are both pretty good games but very watered down and dwarfed in scope. For every good new thing they added, they cut three aspects entirelly.

Morrowind: Ok let's introduce Alchemy, it should be a great skill. Let's dump children, ownable houses and the need of sleep.
Crossbows, anyone? We just need to get rid of flails, banks and sinking in water.
Since we have crossbows, why not have spears! We don't need an infinite number of quests, just make few short and easy ones. Who needs any options in Main Quest, either. And while we're on it, let's dump the calendar and everything that's connected to it: Daedra Summoning, Holidays and Seasons.
Would the skillset look better without Medical, Swimming, Climbing, Pickpocketing, Critical Strike and all those whatever they are. Yes? So, let's CUT them.

Oblivion: Since we have Radiant AI, Speedtree and good hack and slash, we can pretty much cut everything away that made TES2 the best CRPG ever and TES3 great. We could list it, but it's much easier to list what's IN from now on.

No offense to any1, just my humble opinion. :/

I voted:

1 - Morrowind.

2 - Daggerfall

3 - Battlespire.

NOTE: I like all the Elder Scrolls games. Just, given the choices, these are my favorites in each category.

Too true. Morrowind was still good though, most of the things it dumped from Daggerfall can be added by mods. In Oblivion, it felt like it was hardcoded to svck.

It is interesting to note that while most people never played Battlespire or Redguard, those are the devs from those games that conducted the design of MW and OB. The fate of the serie is now in the hand of people coming some games that are quite aliens to the serie fans.
