I think that it's about time for another poll. This should, hopefully, be the last one we need until we get our greedy hands on Brink. I have tried to make it as ultimate as possible, which was actually somewhat difficult due to the five question limit. Regardless, here is my Pretty-Much-Ultimate Poll. Opine away, fellow forum-goers.

EDIT: Also, considering the large number of new members, I think it's a fun idea to get some final numbers.

What I'm most interested in seeing is which gun, out of all of them, is the most popular. Sorry, we don't yet know the name of one of the LMG's and one of the pistols. Gonna go for some accurate, semi-auto weapons, and occasionally the grenade launcher. Medium Engineer--you guys should know this by now.

We base our titles on knowledge of the game more than post count (stars are based on post count within the gamesas forums - for all we know this could be his first post about Brink ever)

Personal preference is to be a Light Operative/Medic dual-spec (I voted Op as my current primary focus though) with Drognav and Hockler (if the stats are different and better, I might go for the other MP though).

I voted for a selection of other weapons as well though, mainly ones I expect I'll enjoy playing with on other builds.

Great poll, by the way. (Also, I'll play as both, but Security is my preference)

So i have seen new comers get turtles....i dont really know what for....but i myself never got a turtle.....i would really like one

gonna start by making a medic. though I'm not sure if ill stay light as idk how i can handle not having an AR. I chose Engineer as my favorite class..

I used to frequent the Brink forums when it was first announced. There were only 10-15 people interested in it at the time, including Wraith and HORSE among others

Me too. Then again, they don't really do that on the New Vegas forums. Anywho, I, oddly enough, voted for all of the most popular things. Though, I am surprised that the Sea Eagle is that low.

I witnessed the very first turtle on this forum, à la Krytt. I think the true official welcome in this forum is getting hit over the head with the Holy Book of H0RSE. Oh well, beats the SD welcome of trial by fire (or flameing, as it were).

I wasn't saying you HAVEN'T been here, just that you could easily earn 5 stars without a single post in the Brink forum, or on the topic of Brink.

And if you want to look at it that way, Wraith has over 4k posts in the Brink discussion page, far more than anyone else that i know of.

I'm seeing two problems here.

First, the majority of the questions in this poll duplicate questions found in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1182911-unofficial-brink-poll/. It's fine to start a thread discussing the topics covered in that poll but we aren't allowing redundant polls. Mad Hatter, if you wish to start a poll just about weapons that's fine.

Second, a length discussion of turtles is more than a little off topic. If you wish to discuss welcoming practices on the forums please start a thread in Community Discussion, if you didn't receive a complimentary turtle or fishy stick then commenting on this fact is likely to drag a thread off topic so it's best not mentioned.
