One save game vs. granade bouqet trap

Hi,

I am attempting hardcoe very hard one save game. Second time in a row I die to a bouqet trap. One was in Vault 11 the other one in a fiend area were you can find Duke. The frustrating part is that the second time I saw the tripwire and shot it down from a distance I thought was save. Nope.... granade bouqet impact area is just ridiciolous.

What is even more frustrating is that my char was level 12 with 10 endurance, combat armor reinfoced mark II, life giver perk and even with sub dermal implant. Previous one was even further with approx. 400-450 life and still died in a single explosion. Although that time I reloaded and did some test. Apparently If I had something like 30 HP more I would survive.

So my question to you is - is there any way in hell you can build a char that can survive granade bouqet on a char that is not level 30 with 500 HP? I want to attempt another playthrough and I am just worried that this will happen again. I haven't beaten the game yet (at all) and do not know it by heart, to know where all the traps are. Sooner or later I will run into one.

BTW. Does hit the deck perk work against granade bouqet? If so, is the DT reduction counted against every single granade? Meaning 4 granades = 100 DT reduction?
