One small thing I miss from Oblivion

This isn't a Skyrim bashing thread. I love this game, and it actually surpasses Morrowind for me.

However, one thing from Oblivion that I miss is the ability to see your character in the menu. I really miss that and wish that Beth would put that in somehow.

Totally agree, would be nice to have a 3d version of your character with his/her weapons drawn

On a console the scope for this is limited

Yeah, it would be cool if we could zoom in and rotate like you can with items. Small chance of Bethesda making that happen though I bet. Oh well, this game is still amazing.

If you're in 3rd person before you go to your inventory and rotate the camera to see your front, you can see any changes you make to your equipment but it's not the clearest image.

i was actually kinda startled when i first opened my inventory and no character showed up. i put the controller down and waited for it to load. my friend texted me a second later and said there was no visuals in the inventory. it doesn't REALLY bother, but it's an odd place to break with convention.

I agree with you, especially since there's enough empty space to implement such a thing in the interface. Even Morrowind had a little paper-doll type thingie where you could see your character and your armor.

a work around is swinging your camera in 3rd person around so you can see him behind the menu. Not great though...

you can do that hit the third person button and then open your inventory, also you can see a 3d model of every object so it is kinda redundant to put it in
