One thing I've found about every TES game

From morrowind to Skyrim, I've felt the same feeling. (yes I know there is arena and daggerfall but they could not possible have what I want) That feeling is being in the world... but not being part of it. What I mean is the character existis in the world, you have quests, and people say little one liners to you but you never really feel... part of the world. I mean when you go to a tavern and buy an ale and drink it... you see no animation, it just disappears from you inventory and you hear a drinking sound. when you sit down he just sits there... sits there like he just saw a ghost and is now petrified out of fear.

You are not remembered for anything either. sure you're called dragonborn but if you save a town or something you don't get applauded or even thanked, only Oblivion did that (as near as I can remember) with Kavatch but that was in the story so it doesn't count lol.

do you guys understand what I mean?

Gaming as a whole has a long way to go in the immersion department. Developers will find little details like these more important as graphics get more detailed.
