Ongoing Personal Projects, Sept 2014

Putting something in bold at the top of a page always makes everything that follows seem more intelligent.

Unless you put something absolutely stupid, that is. Anyways, given that this is a gaming, one can infer that there are quite an amount of creative minds on here. Whether you folks be composers, drawers, writers, etc, you probably have some kind of project you're working on/have worked on/would like to work on. So why not talk about them?

For me, I have quite a long list of things I'm working with. The main one is this book I'm writing, having just finished the rough draft for it this Saturday. I'm aiming to have it released by Summer 2015, so if/when that happens, you all can bet I'll bet shoving it down your throats on here.

I also am writing a story for my Warcraft character that has received TREMENDOUSLY positive response. Won't bother you all with the details of that, since many of you don't play the game, but if you're interested in reading, look up "A Childhood Gone, Vesthara' in Google. I would just link it, but the content might be a bit too raunchy.

Finally, my second priority is writing 5-7 Screenplays to be submitted to contest and queried all around the country throughout the Summer of 2015. So far, I have the rough draft for one done (which I am actually about beginning revision on,) and I have more than enough ideas for the other ones.

That's my workload for the 11-12 months. I'm making good progress on it all.

How about you folks? Chasing your dreams? Getting !@#$ done? Or just talking about it and wasting time? Progress is progress, no matter what, so what are you doing to make it happen?

You sure have your plate full. I always stay dedicated to the roleplays I participate in* and I also try to work regularly on my digital drawing skills. http://velanoon.deviantart.com/ where I have a few of my works. I also just finished working on my costume for the 2014 Michigan renfest, http://www.thesewingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=56782. I don't do a whole lot of independent writing. Most of my literary works are all related to my TES roleplays.

I always have dozens of projects rolling around in my head, but at the moment it would be difficult to put them all into a 'crafting calendar'.

* currently 'A Cursed Existence' and 'Of Princes and Power' in the TES fan fiction area.

Nice. :) I, too, have recently finished a rough draft of a novel. Second draft is on-going, and of much higher quality. I do not know what hopes I have of getting it published, but I mean to see it through to the end.

Other than all the RPs I'm in. I'm working on a Alaska Fallout Fan Lore thread. With a lot of new content and creatures. All fictional. Been working on it for quite some time.
