Online Performance

With out a shadow of a doubt the PC community want to install Crysis 3 and have a new benchmark. It's expected that Crysis 3 be the best looking game to date. Definitely a lot of pressure for Crytek, but I think you can deliver.

On the PS3 and 360, where I mostly play, in terms of online play I think it's alright if you Dev's leave out a few details in graphics for the consoles if it means it will improve online performance.

The Multi-player lag was unacceptable in Crysis 2. The kill-cams were a turn off for many newer players, because of it's inaccuracies.

I'd like to know what Crytek is doing to combat online lag in Crysis 3.

I honestly hope it's optimized. I have no money for new hardware, and sure would like to play it with my 5870.

I don't GAF if multiplayer was only half the godliness of singleplayer, as long as it doesn't look like ****. Maybe the graphics won't need to be reduced as much if Crytek hosts some servers, and we'll be able to do without lag for the most part. Just make sure singleplayer is as good as it can get and still have an acceptable framerate.

The single player for me, on PS3 was solid, the only problem I can remember was going into debt with nano catalyst, which was later patched by Crytek. The single player was beautiful looking, and ran so smooth. The multiplayer is where things started to falter more, hence the thread title, Online Performance.
