EA Online Petitions

Post » Fri Jan 16, 2009 7:20 pm

if this is true then i just want to say thank you to EA. The game is rated M for a reason and all the mature people dont wanna deal with kids whose parents just buy them whatever they want because they dont wanna listen to your annoying whiney voices so they make us deal with it. Go do some homework or get outside. This is why so many people are sick of COD, and EA relizes it, they dont want this community leaving because it was taken over by kids who shouldnt have the game in the first place.
Amen. It's rated M for a reason. Parents who let their underaged kids play these games are irresponsible.

I for one am glad to no longer hear people who aren't allowed to vote in the game.

So the restriction is because of something that doesn't even add to the multiplayer, or at least not much?
Also in a while I kind of feel like little kids will get new, older accounts when their's expires to play the game. I mean if their parents are irresponsible enough to buy them M rated games, what is stopping them from making an 18 year old account?

I like the Age limit I hate Hearing Kids screaming and Talking trash when they are loosing. It says 18 & over for a Reason why else would they put an age limit if they could get more money by not doing so.
-Thanks EA!
Heres a solution: Mabey put the younger kids in diffrent servers (seprate ones) and mabey JUST MABEY they can block mics on the younger players both reciving and transmiting.

LOL this is why you dont let your parents set age restrictions when you get your xbox
My point proven here: But still, people over 18 still cant play.

I can play sorry Crysis aint for kids

Here let me help you, your confuzed...

Problem: If you tried to play an EA game under 18 at some point (say 15) and got on 3 years later, it STILL blocks you out because they dont update their profiles.

Do you pay any attention oncesoever, EVEN IF YOU MATURE PAST THE AGE YOU NEED TO BE IT STILL BLOCKS YOU OUT AND IF IT REFUSES TO WORK IT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!

The reason minors cannot get on the multiplayer is because caracters often says "F*ck you, @sshole" and other dirty stuff like that when they kill you.

But there is a fix, you put the cd in the box then wait ... a few years until your old enought
Sigh... You dont get it and I have to repeat myself because you dont read. EVEN IF YOU MATURE PAST THE AGE BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO PLAY A PAST EA GAME UNDER AGE (such as deadspace 2) IT WILL STILL BLOCK YOU OUT OF MULTIPLAYER BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO UPDATE THEIR SYSTEM!

Thanks EA u just made the best thing EVER i stopped playing Black ops because of the annoying little kids... it is RATED M
Ther needs to be a NO Vote..

That is great news thanks i did not know that now this games needs to be voted for best game of the year just because of that no wonder i did not hear any whiny kids while i was playing!!!!

1) Black ops svcks ANYWAY!
2) Little kids can be muted with a button
3) Dont block it alltogether
4) Even if you mature you still cant play because you played a game made by EA at a younger age.

BUT thats more than likely not the case, MOST likely you saw you couldn't play, updated your age and the server was like man he was 15 ten minutes ago, how did he turn 18 in 10 minutes? Do dogs have xbox live accounts? or is it a bug of some kind?

Then you confused the server so it won't let you play

Really though I think this is great! I watched a parent buy a 9 year oldish boy Red Dead Redemption eariler, seriously though M rated games today are way worse than the M rated games when I was growing up, and you shouldn't be playing it, go outside

I bet this is exactally what happened. I ruined some kids day at Gamestop the other day when he tried getting his mom to buy him Black Ops i told her that the games really graphic with lots of swearing and drug use and the kid had a fit so he didnt get anything the guys behind the counter got a good laugh about it.

I vote no since you should have been smart and selected 18 as your age for xbox profile.

As a matter of fact I don't think it is effective enough since I still got in a lobby with kids screaming on the mic.

Actually I take it back, allow 17+ since it is an M rated game and technically you are false advertising and could have a possible lawsuit.
