My only complain about what I have seen about skyrim so far

Well judging from the armor so far, I'd say they barely do walk around covered. Seriously, it looks like something from a Conan movie instead of cold weather gear

And Conan armor is bad bcause?

I'd take 7 gold coins a pop...gold's down from its high, but is still trading at $1624.80USD/oz.

"They charged me five gold for littering! Littering! I barely make that in a year!"

Quote from Oblivion. 7 gold is a lot of money to commoners.

Totally! Heck, even if they're medium sized, I could stick that money into a brokerage account and make bank on it... THEN buy a new car. :celebration:

7 gold pieces is a lot of money. But it makes sense that it won't sell as much as weapons/armor, that's just silly.

True! The average citizen of Cheydinhal barely makes less than 5 gold pieces a year, according to some dialogue in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Corruption_and_Conscience quest. Yet the player would have to pay around 10,000 gold in order to buy a house that is similar in size to theirs. :P

I agree an animal pelt should have higher value.

Nothing drastic, but say, 20-25 gold rather than 7.

Ideally there would be tiers of skins tho. The cheap, tattered ones might be worth 7, whilst an high-quality bear fur pelt could be worth something like 70.

Yeah theres ludicrous economic nonesense in the game. Mind you that gal saying she made 5 sovereigns a year was either VERY poor (In which case her house was far too nice), or more logically, she shouldn't have said she made so little. A gold piece per day is more reasonable. "Another day, another Septim..." was already a much more reasonable quote... until you realize you have to pay more than that for apples.
