Did anyone else make an oath not to come near the forums when New Vegas comes out due to fear of spoilers :user: ..... ....... :brokencomputer:

I'll oath to that... with my blood.
Seriously, I won't even go on my PC when I'll buy FONV.

I'm hoping to go three straight days without fresh air or sunlight.
Stock up on ingredients for all my toaster-oven specialties, lot of cheese-melties and mini-pizzas.

Plenty of beer, ammunition for my bong, and yeah, are couch-sores a thing? Like bed-sores, but from a couch?
Maybe if I alternate which butt-cheek I'm sitting on every 6 hours ...

Only problem is, I'm a volunteer firefighter, so I'm hoping nothing burns down in late October. I might just let it burn.
That's what home-owners insurance is for.

Nah, I need to be the fallout elitist I am and set a number of people straight on some stuff.
And it's going to be hella fun to read people's "I killed my quest giver and he wasn't essential, BUG!" threads.
Ah, Hank could take them on good day.

[edit]
Oh god... I have to re-read a crap-load of lore...

In a fews days, I'm probably gonna back off from the NV section for a while. I already know more than I want to. And I'm probably gonna stay off until about 2 weeks after the game is out, once I do things myself.

Honestly, I don't think I'll be returning until I complete every single path in the game. I really, really don't want to have stuff like consequences spoiled for me.

I'm not even looking up any information anymore. I like being surprised. ;)

Same I don't like to over research games before I play them.

Well Howdy Partner. Might I say you are looking fit as a fiddle.

Well. Funny thing stranger. The dirt activated your Life Alert beacon.

Its such a relief knowing in an apacolyptic wasteland there's still a good LifeAlert

instead of falling, hitting the button, and have some random dude come steal my shiz while I'm down

This. I have more information about this game than I want or need to have. It is real hard to moderate these forums and not spoil myself.

Now, information like what JE Sawyer posted in another thread on how NPCs won't be noticing your kicking of cans or looking at items is nice to know as that does not spoil the game, but lets me know what tweaks have been done. For example, this thread, with Post #28

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1113578-yes-i-know-its-locked-and-no-i-wasnt-eyeing-it/

That is the only kind of stuff I want to know about during the home stretch to release.

I agree. I've gotten more than enough of my share of information and the only reason I've really been staying on the forums is:
1) To kill time before school starts back up
and
2) To help answer questions since the devs don't have the time to answer everything. I don't work with or for Obsidian or Bethesda, but I still know basically everything that's been confirmed and can answer most questions.

Luckily (?), there hasn't been anything substantial in a good while - just some breadcrumbs - and I doubt there will (at least for things that I would consider as such).
