I just played a quick game on the new 1.9 patch, yet i found a hacker. He couldnt be kickvoted because his name was ~"Ceph... (console button symbol).
I have made a quick picture with my phone (didnt have fraps on that time) it's a bit blurry because he ran and all, but what's important can be seen.
He was speedhacking, aimhacking, and running through walls... and he had 4 perks active...

Question is WTF will crysis admins do about this and him? warning, ban? Because i think and i vote that ALL CHEATERS should be BANNED, by IP and by SERIAL. Simply revoke their ability to play online. Im sure they can do it. Serial is linked to account.

You can get around that sometimes. After you type in 'votekick' in the console, start pressing the tab button. It should cycle through all the names of everyone on the server.

if someone has a video with him please post it here for the admins to see (or the anti cheat thread or something like that made by crytek).
This game still lacks messaging between friends, and an easier way to initialize kickvote...

There are some names that can't be vote kicked, no matter what you do. if you're an admin and trying to ban this guy with the remote admin tool (while at the same time in-game) it won't work either. The server admin must disconnect from the game and then he will be able to ban this type of hack. Then you will see what the real characters are in the player's name.

Yet i still dont get WTF woul someone cheat? Is it so fun to sit in 1 place and kill others with 1 shot? how retard and gay can you be to do something like this? GTFO and *fap* instead, and leave the players enjoy the game. This **** needs a good BAN. Even if he is using an original product with key, he is using it to boicot the servers and the game itself, leading to stopping other people to play or buy the game.

The admins will just take it down.

Try contacting the admin of that server. Tell him to do a search for Ceph or Overlord (not case sensitive) and give the aprox date and time. He will be able to find what his player name truly is. He can then manually ban it via the admin tool. Also, tell him to send you a copy of his real player name. I want to add this SOB to my Banned List.

Example: Player name in-game is <> but actually the real name is >>Sh!tForBrains<<

Just copy and paste his name into the admin tool and it will auto-add his guid and ban his arse.

You need to look in the game logs to get their actual name. Copy and paste that name into the admin tool and press Ban twice. Once to load the name and a second to load the guid. Loading the guid confirms you entered the name correctly.

it's some sort of ljjjljl... (but not L and J, some kind of symbols that you cant type).
This one i could kick, i just typed votekick then pressed space, then tab, and tabbed untill i got to his name.
But the Ceph~Overlord is impossible to kick... i used the above mentioned method, and pressed enter, yet nothing happened.
Today i saw him again, sent a message to server admin, and asked for his real name. Expecting a reply (but dunno if i will get it...).

You need to add "ban_timeout=0" (without quotes) to /dedicated.cfg for the bans to be permanent. If not (by default) the bans are for 60 minutes. You can go to your ban list while they are still there and copy their names. Once 60 minutes have expired, the names will disappear.

If you were able to kick him you will be able to get his name from the server log. Find the log, open with Note Pad search for "Vote" and keep searching until you find the player's name you're looking for. Then manually ban his arse via the admin tool.
