Love Fallout but I have not played New Vegas, yet. Will we get to California? I hear that it is where the source of super mutants come from.

play FO1 and 2 and after that new vegas if you like the story in fallout you will love to play the originals game play is a lil tricky if you never played a turn based RPG but it's defenetly worth it :celebration:

1st 2 games had a lot of California. Put together, they have all of California as well as parts of Nevada and Oregon. The West Coast super mutants are different from the ones in Fallout 3, with green skin, often more normal voices, and often more intelligence. New Vegas has a small portion of the map in California as well.

I think i will, from what i understand the original two are really good and i have had experience in old school RPG so it will be a little nostalgic. I will be getting a new laptop soon, will i be able to install those games on windows 7?

Yes, though there are fixes needed for color stuff. You should be able to find them on google, but I posted a fix on a thread somewhere . . . I don't remember where.

well, at a town called nipton theres a welcome to california sign and a welcome to nevada sign. so i think part of the map is in cali.

Why is this in the DLC disscusion?
