I downloaded the EXE version of this great mod thinking it would be easier, but i quickly came to find outthat the OMOD version was much more easy. I cannnot find anyway to uninstall the EXE version of the mod. All i find inthe data folderof oblivion are its esps and esms. no setup to uninstall. any help would be appreciateed. I would love to be able to uninstall the exe version and reinstall it using the OMOD. Please, im completely lost on this topic

The exe version of OOO does not come with a Uninstall, your going to other going to have to delete the esp/esm and ignore the meshes/textures left behind in your Data Folder or do a full uninstall and reinstall of oblivion... Or you could hunt down every added mesh and texture which is gonna be next to impossible.

This is why you should always use OMOD/BAIN archives whenever possible.

I believe the tes4files is the one that you should use, but the Oblivion Mod Remover may also work.

No need to uninstall it at all I'd guess. Just install the OMOD version over it.

This, install the OMOD version, then deactivate the OMOD to get rid of all the files, just remember to follow the exact same settings you did with the exe.

He does not need to remember the exact options. With the exception of Harvest Flora and Living Economy, the data files are all installed, regardless, and any leftover plugins can be removed manually.
