OOO, MOBS/Omobs or whatever...

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 11:56 pm

Im not sure what im supposed to do, I have all the DLC, shivering Isles and OOO.

Theres Shivering OOO, SI Omobs, Oblivion Omobs, then a bunch of mobs for the Unofficial patches on DLC.

Unfortunately im unsure because i have Supplemental installed to 3.3.3 and none of the files seem to regard that :S

Either way im not sure.

What is your question, exactly? What do you want to do, install OOO? If that is the case, just follow this guide here: http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=guides_mod_installation&subpage=ooo_installation_guide

If you have any questions at all while trying to follow the steps, please ask.

Take your time.

Not sure about what? :)

You should tell us what you want to do: install MOBS / OMOBS or not. If yes, you should tell us which (gameplay) mods you use or intend to use because much depends on that.

OOO uses OMOBS balancing, so there is not much of a question there unless the OP is not using OOO...

Edit: Striderx, Shivering OOO is completely separate from OOO. It was a separate plugin someone made to rebalance SI's items in accordance with OMOBS. In the OMOBS archive, you only need the regular and SI plugins (not the combat plugin.) I think Shivering OOO is unnecessary. Using the MOBS patches (Updated Official DLCs MOBS) is a normal suggestion. As for the supplemental, install it after UOP 3.2.0.

That is explained in the first step of the guide I linked, but I answered this question in my last post anyway.

Good luck!

Really shouldnt being doing this double post, but the omobs i realise are to be merged as stats into the bash patch, but what about the DLC mobs and SI mobs?

Also a side question, should i really be using levelled list option with W.E.P.O.N., OOO, the mobs/omobs so forth?

Im guessing b#no, but im unsure.

You don't need to merge them, just import the stats. The same applies to the MOBS patches. You should use the LL option with almost any overhaul. I do not know what W.E.P.O.N. is, but really you can probably just rely on BOSS to figure to set the LL tags appropriately. Check the LL option and tick the automatic check box as well (if it is not already checked.) You probably should not have to manually tweak any of mods' leveled lists tags.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35560 that would be W.E.P.O.N.

It does seem to touch levelled lists though, I suppose you mean don't turn the omob/mobs off right?

I don't know what you mean by that last question, but you should not have to worry about what shows up in the LL menu of the Bashed Patch config.

You can leave those plugins deactivated. In Bash, you should see a dot after importing the stats from the plugins.

Weapon Expansion Pack for Oblivion Nthusiasts (linked in my signature) does make some changes to leveled lists to fix issues in vanilla Oblivion or MOBS/MOBS-SI. So the LL bash tag for WEPON is correct. (I think the latest version of the BOSS master list shows that as one of the tags for WEPON--if not, it should :) )
Let me know if any questions.
