Hey all! I've recently delved into the realms of Open Cities. I started with Open Better Cities, but found it changed a little too much for my tastes (while very impressive I must admit). I then looked at Open Cities Reborn, and it's again, very impressive, but I'm not really keen on the new layouts. I liked the original layouts for everything except Leyawiin. OCR really showed me what Leyawiin could be. However it seems the only option to have everything reborn, or nothing.

I've done some research, and at one point it was possible to have every city open with just Leyawiin reborn, but I can't find it anywhere. Can anybody help?

You can have everything OC Reborn, or everything OC Classic, you cannot mix and match.

Thanks for the post. Like I said in the OP I am aware that it's currently all or nothing when it comes to Reborn.I've done more digging and come up with a few Alpha builds of what I'm after.

All I'm after is the completed version of this file, before they started rebuilding every other city.

As Vorians said, it's all or nothing. Using an ancient alpha build (from a site hosting it without permission no less) of Leyawiin would not be a good idea.

It used to be possible to do what you want, but that became a nightmare of maintenance issues and compatibility hackery that just wasn't worth the hassles.

OK. Thanks Arthmoor. Sorry to advertise an irresponsible site, I wasn't aware they didn't have permission. Being honest the Reborn Cities are very good, it's more nostalgia/what I'm used to that led me to want to keep the old layouts. I've got both your Classic and Reborn already downloaded (from TESNexus), so I'll stick with those. I'll either put up with Old Leyawiin, or get used to your new Reborn Cities. Thanks for clearing this up.

I recommend getting used to Reborn, they're much better than the vanilla city layouts.

And they (Reborn cities) do have their own "nostalgia" value as well. Even if not one recognised by most: They are (as much as was reasonable and possible) replications of the original concept sketches of the cities.
