Darn it! I was going to post it!

Sweet, sounds like it's user-controlled. You can choose to blow up whenever you want. Sweet.

It's rank 4, so levels 16-19.

So it's a total jerk move ability. I wonder if it's contextual and you can have it as a fourth active ability since you can only activate it when you're down?

Almost. With martyrdom, you just wait a few seconds to see if they explode. With Cortex Bomb, they can explode whenever they want. On the flipside, you can re-kill them so they're too dead to pull the trigger.

It'll be great against the guys that come up to melee you to death. If people just stand back to shoot them then they won't be caught in the loltastic trap.

So what's wrong with that?

Rule of thumb: Don't get nearby enemies if you don't know what to expect.

This is for the good of the ark!

Also how big do you think it will be?
I am hoping it is just big enough to kill a person trying to interorgate you.

Martyrdom in COD, you drop the grenade automatically when you die after a long death-streak. Anyone can use it.

Cortex Bomb in Brink, you can trigger it whenever you want when you're down. Only for Operatives.

I like the one in World at War better. If you had Martyrdom as a perk, you'd drop a grenade after every single death.

Death streaks are one of the few things Call of Duty did that no one complains at.

Isn't there also a variety of grenade that you can plant in incapacitated enemies, so that when one of their teammates tries to revive them they get blown to hell? Or am I mistaken?

Also remember its not going to be a one hit kill even if it explodes near you.

Those are the average everyday mines an Engineer gets.

But yes, he can place them under incapped players. It's not a special ability or anything, he can do that from level 0.

Oh, I see. I wonder if you can actually see the mine. Life if it will go through the incapped enemy's body and onto the floor, or sit on top of their body.

I think you can only place them on the floor, and since technically the incapped player is higher than the floor, it would go through him.
