play dead is a confirmed operative ability.... will probably be the staple trick of heavy ops.
Heavy Ops will also firewall consoles, and spot enemy Ops for the team.
Stop thinking something is useless just cause it doesn't fit your perception of "right"
I said disguising would be next to useless, not because my perception of what is "right" is wrong (and please stop pretending like you know what I think) but because you as an operative heavy have to kill another heavy on their team, to match speed with your disguise, and mobility, and the heavy on their team might just have something in the way of attack abilities that you as an operative lack.
I never said a defensive heavy OP wouldn't work, I explained how you wouldn't be able to stealth past unobserved, and I used game examples with similar situations, I can't help if you brush over my points.
My entire point was "people over estimate the usefulness of heavy OP"
If you take the route of falling back, you take yourself out of the combat, where your heavy weaponry could be pushing the fight forward, while you watch for enemy ops, I don't think the Heavy can be used effectively as a trap, unless the rest of your team gets dominated, and then maybe you have a point.
