Let me elaborate.
I was trying to do the Security Campaign Mission where you first repair the crane (engineer) and then in phase two hack the missile (operative).
Before I continue, there is a mechanic in game where if you try to buff someone, and they are too far away, you will run, faster than normal, to the teammate to distribute the buff.
Unfortunately this mechanic has been happening when it shouldn't. I am trying to hack the objective, and as you may know, when hacking you are able to move around to find a position that is safe from cover, at the cost of signal strength. I have been trying, but without control, I start sprinting back to the hack site, and when I try to run back to cover, I cannot, I am still running to the objective, making me an easy target for enemy fire. This makes completing the mission impossible, as the objective is extremely difficult in the first place, being in the open and near the Resistance spawn.
This has also been happening when I attempted to extract intel from an incapacitated enemy, except it sprinted me to their respawn point and slaughtered by turrets before I realised what was going on.
Does anyone know:
1. How to stop this or prevent this happening,
2. How to complete this objective without cover,
3. Or any other pieces of information which might help.

On an unrelated note, my character's archetype, scars and tattoos and gear all got changed to those of my other character, to look like an exact replica, only on the Resistance side. My original character remained unchanged. I only realised this at level 10, because I mainly play Security on that character.
BRINK is a great game, but these glitches are ruining the experience.
