I was playing with bots 1 round on the container city level as the resistance and found someone on my team dressed just like my character. (the AI name was Hardy or something)

I shot at him thinking he was an enemy operative, but no... it was someone from my team. He even responded with the friendly fire smacktalk.

... so he ran off and started killing the enemy team and I watched him die. The moment he respawned he came back as a different character... an asian faced dude with the anger outfit.

Am I missing something or was that a glitch?

I'd call that a glitch.

When you see an Operative who disguised as YOU (and ONLY when it was YOU they disguised as), your character calls out "Hey, he looks like me! ENEMY OPERATIVE!" and the disguise breaks.

I have noticed this glitch quite a few times. It seems like sometimes players will load with your character model until they die. This has happened with AI and with other players on my team (humans) .

One important thing to note is that when an operative is disguised as you, he will also have YOUR name above his head. So yeah, the outfit copy bug seems to be an issue but its not an operative skill

Thanks guys. Well I personally don't mind that glitch happening though. I like checking myself out in action sometimes

I've joined two games online now where multiple allied players on my team looked exactly like my character (including a RL friend who's character looks entirely different, but he looked like a clone of me during those matches). It's some kind of glitch, dunno what causes it yet.
