Opinion Hunt: What part of ESO interest's you outside of PVP

Post » Wed Mar 05, 2014 4:54 am

Outside of PVP, i have not heard too much on the precise details on what keeps people intrigued in the PVE aspect, i.e Questing and Exploration outside of cyrodil. Some people have said they enjoy all of it simply by soaking it all in and taking it slow, others enjoy the environment.

For those who played the beta, was there any part of the pve in particular that got you excited? Any acute part that really caught your attention and kept you entertained? Part of my reasons for collecting this info is becouse my faction involved many quests that had me searching through crates and picking up bottles, and i only had a couple quests personally that i enjoyed. The first was the mad deadra quest-line (dominion) and the questline that involved saving the queen from danger (the veil?)

Other than those two quests and a bit (a tiny bit) of exploration and roleplaying i found very little content that really excited me

Yes, another overly generic claim on PVE that makes no sense to me.

It would be like saying "i enjoy scrubbing the tile because its fun".

As always, I like playing games for their story.

Crafting, one of the fundamentals to having strong gear.

I played two last betas, and the PVE is okay. It could be better, in my opinion, if they add more instance group dungeons. The open worlds quests are just okay, not epic but, they are okay. Exploration is awesome, you are walking around gathering materials then suddenly you find a quest.

I play ESO for the story, so what the -blam!- is your problem with that, huh?

I scrub tiles on a daily basis.

PvP isn't that important to me, I intend to play and complete the story first. Something I always thoroughly enjoy in the Elder Scrolls games.

I'm a completionist sort of player. I love having lots of little things (and big things) to accomplish.

Emperor irks me a bit, because I'm unlikely to be anywhere near competitive with my limited playtime. But it's a pretty small irk, all said.
