Opinion on Lycanism

Lycanthropy has got to be in the game. They've been "no comment"ing it from the beginning!

It makes sense they would keep this as something you need to play the game to discover. I applaud them for that.

I would just find REALLY odd if the only were-creature you could be is a werewolf, 'cause, you know, Argonians, Khaijits and even Orcs or Dunmer would look really odd if they had the same graphics or are affected by the same strain of Lycanthropy... Also, Nord werebears anyone?

I think that ity would be cool if it was used like a spell so you can change back and forth on command

Nope.

I'd appreciate it if the option was there in the game though.

Don't really think that's possible. Just THINK of all the generated bandits!

And I'm not a "furry," I just see how awesome it is, and all the hints we've been given. Not hard to play "detective" on this one.

in a rare positive reference, i would if its something like WoW where you are able to customize your were-self. thinking about it, i would have some real fun altering my nordic warrior's background to include being a werewolf...

I'd do it, just not with my Khajit if I could help it. I'm sorry but a Khajiti werewolf seems a little odd. Same thing for an Argonian werewolf. Those two shifting shape into anything seems almost counter-intuitive.

I wouldn't mind seeing werebears, since the lore so clearly could explain why they're around. Either way though, it has to be well done if you're going to include it in the game. I'm sure that Bethesda has a decent plan of perks/drawbacks for any altered states that they're including in the game, but we've seen how what Bethesda thinks is cool sometimes is reviled by a vocal chunk of the fanbase.

khajiiit and argonians are basically werecats and weregeckos

Were-anything would be fun. Wasn't Daggerfall full of were-pigs?
