Opinions on Lycanism? good, bad? Would you become a Lycanthrope?

(Lycanthrope is a werewolf.)

Technically, a lycanthrope is any number of were-beasts.

As for becoming one, hell yes I would, especially on the increasingly-small chance that they include werebears.

I think they would be a cool change, I would become one hell yes, lot better than a vampire IMO, and Lycanthropy is the term for a werewolf.

I'm curious just how that would work in the game. Vampires need to feed on blood every so often. Would the Werewolves need to eat hearts? Would Deidric hearts work XD

It's "Lycanthropy," not "lycansim."

The suffix "ism" usually is a belief, or set of beliefs. (Usually)

And I'm rooting for them to be in the game....

Don't worry Skooma. Even Bethesda uses wrong terms, as Lycanthrope comes from Lycos and Anthros, meaning Wolf and Man. Sorta narrows it down to werewolves, but we use it as a word for all were-beasts anyways.

Aiiiiiiiight! Totally tricked up another werewolf-thread with pretty purple prose.

I would play a werewolf. Why not? It's a feature in-game, and I want my money's worth.
Characterwise? I would try to keep the MainQuest Hero away from such life altering drugs.

Instead of being a vampire hunter like Van Helsing or Buffy, I want to become a werewolf slayer, and have their heads as trophies in my house :evil:

You have it, but also a secondary nature. Could easily be relied on to protect your first nature, and/or survive.

I would try it either after completing everything I wanted to accomplish or perhaps on a throwaway character. I don't think I'd want to play the game following strict guidelines of when to hide from sight and such.

Lol. I plan on killing them, but I REALLY want them to be in-game to do that, and POSSIBLY become one for a short amount of time.

Definitely, had loads of fun role-playing as a werewolf on bloodmoon. The morale dilemma of trying not to harm villagers during the day while the relentless cries of the beast within took over when the moon came up.
