My Opinion...

Iv'e played Fallout 4 all last week. In general i think it is a good game. Iv'e seen many complaints so i would like to share my opinion.

SPOILERS AHEAD

The Commonwealth...

I think Bethesda has created one of the best worlds it has ever created. It is Huge. There is something interesting around every corner. Iv'e played 10 hours a day of 6 days and still haven't seen all the locations. The little pieces of info you find relation to theses locations are nice. The police confiscation Chase's experimental drug. Drug dealers prewar trying to get their hands on the mysterious drug psycho, the story behind P.A.M., Jacqueline and her family foreshadowing the energy problems concerning the Institute. We now have a history behind the Fat Man and mini nukes. There is many more.. like Dunwich Bores. That legacy continues. I didn't care for the Kid in the Fridge, a ghoul in fridge for 200 years? But the quest does give you a choice. One of the most interesting stories that you kinda have to piece together is the Institute working with FEV to help develop the next gen synth's organtics. Dr Zimmer was involved. He probably obtained a sample of FEV from the CW. He might have obtained this FEV from the Enclave themselves(my speculation.)

Choices....

There are choices you have to make in many of the side quest. How you deal with Covenant, many of the quest at Diamond City, and the Railroad just to name a few off the top of my head. Of course you have the 4 main factions to side with. It was a little disappointing to see that the Institute and BOS follow basically the same quest line.

Past game references....

I always like to find past game references when playing Fallout. I haven't used Danse or Codsworth as a follower so I don't know their dialogue. Danse has a very interesting background according to wiki so i'm going to have him as a companion on the next reload. MacCready doesn't mention the CW at all, just his family. Surprisingly Deacon has a few comments. He states that if you think the Commonwealth is bad, you should see the Capital Wasteland..but you can drink the water. He also states next time he will dress up like President Eden and he ask if you think anyone will notice. History of the CWBOS along with Maxson is given in on Quinlan's terminal. I also liked the mention of the Hub, NCR and the Shi with Kellogg's past.

More to Come....

I just cant help but feel we haven't seen the everything yet. Why is advanced power armor found in the game? Why did Father continue to support research on the FEV? After you side with the Institute and finish the game, you will occasionally be called to "defend a position". Every single "position" is at a location were power armor is found. Why is it if you go to Virgil's cave wearing advanced power armor the turrets turn hostile? I cant help think that some time the Institute and the Enclave had some sort of relationship that went sour.

Father....

One of the things that bothered me is the fact that Father dies. It's just stupid. All he has to do is create a synth for himself and place his memories in the synth. It worked for Danse and Valentine. But wait, you have the child synth Shaun. I believe that is what Father actually does. You never see him die. I think he becomes the child synth. You have the option of taking him with you. You cant trust Father. He is one of the biggest liars ever to be seen in a Fallout game.

hey i like your opinions, and yeah there are alot of unknowns, we going to wait for DLC. I think Bethesda have a clear idea to keep developing the story pass the ending.

I just don't understand.
Are people like you unaware?
Or do you try and spoil as much as possible on purpose without so much as a warning

Granted the moment it got into spoiler territory I stopped reading.
Seriously now.
Label your post properly
