Opinions on Daedric and Dwemer retextures

Hi,

recently big retexture of all dwemer stuff (architecture, weapons, creatures,...) by Tyddy came out, which inspired me to finally look around and check some new replacers for both Dwemer and Daedric architecture.Till now, I was using Darknut's Dwemer textures and Daedric textures from MGSO. I found some really nice mods, but when I tried them there was usually "that one thing" that kept me hesitant about using it. So I wanted to ask you - what textures are you using? Did you switched recently? What made you switch/not swich if I may ask? Btw. you do not need to answer about daedric and dwemer only, I was just most curious about these, but feel free to write about any replacer :)

All opinions are welcomed ;)

From a design perspective the vanilla textures are top of the line. That's why I recommend Tyddy's textures for both Dwemer and Daedric Architecture. They stay as close to the original as possible. Very good alternatives are Connary's textures for the Dwemer Architecture and Visual Pack for the Daedric Architecture. Both are definitely showing their age, though, which is why I stopped using them. They are still good, but dated.

I really like Bloodinfested's http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/39125/? a lot, even though they are obviously not completely new, but upscaled and edited from the vanilla ones, but in a way that actually looks good, in my opinion. Especially since this is the only replacer I know that includes high-res textures for the statues that look good.

Then there are of course http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43318/? ones, although they are a bit on the reddish side, which may be not everyone's taste. Tyddy's are great, too, of course.

I am not that certain about dwemer textures, I believe I have been using Darknut's in my last playthrough, and for once I find his style works quite well in this case, but Tyddy's recent release is, of course, top notch quality, even though some textures appear to be too high-res in the sense that their details are too small to stand out enough in some places, which makes the textures look cleaner than they should.

I must say, this http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43915/? from mikeandike looks very intriguing as well, although I haven't tried it out, yet.
