Greetings all, there have been a few movies released recently that I've thought about going to see in the theatres/cinemas, but have had some reservations. I haven't seen any discussions about them, so I thought I'd ask and see what other people think about them.
I haven't read any reviews, and actually am surprised that I've heard nothing about these movies at all since being released.
First off- Terminator: Genisys. When I first heard about it I thought, 'maybe they can do better than the last two Terminator movies'. Then after seeing one trailer thought, 'ok, I'm not sure about the time shenanigans, but it does look promising....'. Later I saw another trailer which threw the whole story on it's head, and I wasn't so sure about it anymore.
So basically, even though it seems to re-write the whole Terminator series, is it worth seeing now, better to wait until it comes out on rental/Netflix, or should I not bother at all?
Second- Ant-Man: I've never read any comics with Ant-Man (although I have heard of Hank Pym's involvement through other comic books), and have wondered if the Marvel Studios was throwing darts while trying to figure out who else to work into the movies, so I have no connection to the characters or storyline. Now I have a feeling that if I really want to keep up with everything in the MCU movies, I'll have to see this one as well.
So, if I skip this one will I miss out on anything important or is it really worth seeing?
So that's my questions, and if anyone else wants to ask about movies that are currently out, feel free to chime in.
